Lower Pen Y Clawdd Farm
Used to fish here about 12 to 15years ago but Me and my son went here fishing 29/08/19, we had a fab day, caught loads of fish Barbel, Carp roach and bream didnt catch tench this time but apparently they are still there. Would strongly recommend this place for a days coarse fishing. If i was to complain about anything it would be that........................ that i didnt have time to eat my sandwiches. The rules to some people may sound a little funny. Like no boilies no floating crust no meats, no ground bait but honestly this place is really good especially if you are taking a first timer. Fab day thank you to the owners .

Great rural location. Johns pool, Good fishing with steady catch rate of medium sized healthy fish up to about 4lb. Went up on a fine dry day and able to access pond within close proximity with car. Could be a challenge in wet conditions.

Lower Pen Y Clawdd Farm
We came to fish willow pool in mid November and upon arrival were a little worried as the water was quite low, only around 2 1/2ft. But it didn't matter we had non stop action from the first cast right until it was time to leave. We caught roach, skimmers, loads and loads of carp and even managed a barbel. Will definitely be back

Lower Pen Y Clawdd Farm
Came down to do a days fishing and it was a bit of a crazy session. The morning started off quite slow but in the afternoon the fish went a bit mad and caught plenty including my first barbel at 9 and half pound and plenty of carp to 11 and half pound. The owner was welcoming and stopped by for a chat. Will definitely be back as I really enjoyed the day.

I like a nice quiet fishing spot and Lower Pen Y Clawdd is perfect. Fantastic fishing in a lovely location. The lady who runs it is also very friendly and welcoming.

Easy to find, ample parking and absolutely stacked with fish. Been here 3 times now since I have started pole fishing again (last fished the place almost 17yrs ago) and finding it good sport with non stop action. Nice to get a few barbel out too. Been fishing the wagtail pool catching fish between 1lb and 8lb with the average size roughly 3-4lb (one a chuck)
