Ooh La La Hair Designs

I hadn't been to a salon in about 2 years due to extreme anxiety and so I booked myself in for a hair cut to ease myself in to being back at a salon.Firstly, I called to say I was running 5 minutes late because I couldn't find parking and I didnt want to risk parking in a space for permit holders. Therefore it wasnt the best start which I rung ahead and apologised. However, when I arrived and was told immediately how I would have to get my hair dried by someone else because I'm late and they have another client now. Which is not the nicest greeting. I then got my hair washed which was extremely uncomfortable.. there was no checking to see if I was ok or anything.There was such an unwelcoming vibe the whole time I was there. I never got offered a drink or anything and they constantly spoke negatively about other people and even explained how furious they were about people messaging to ask about the salon prices (even though this is definitely what I did before my appointment).. stating that they should just find the price list online for themselves!The whole experience just felt horrible. I didn't feel welcome at all. I'm not saying they are bad at hair or anything.. but their customer service is just terrible. It's definitely put me off from going back for a colour. The whole time I was there I just felt unwelcome and an inconvenience to them. I was so glad to get home!

Been having my hair done by Amy and she just does such an amazing job. I always get so many compliments on my hair now. Have to applaud her and the whole team, really friendly and helpful. With my busy schedule, they find the time to fit me in last minute and I’m so grateful. A wonderful team.A really happy customer once again.

It took me awhile to find hairdressers I can trusts when I moved here in SOT and I honestly recommend this place to all my friends and family. KAYLEE has been my go to and every single visit she works her magic I’ve never been disappointment. She always go above and beyond. Always work around me (which I feel bad) although never made me feel bad about she’s so understanding.All in all the place is an absolute vibe, everyone is soo friendly and polite.

Great friendly salon. Kim and Amy are excellent stylists and my hair is always done just the way I like it. I would highly recommend it.

Kim and Amy were amazing from the start. From the initial exchange of messages, the trials and the wedding day. They looked after myself and my wife on our big day. They listened to what we wanted and made us look fabulous, we both loved our hair and had lots of compliments. They helped to keep us calm, and even helped with nails and getting into dresses etc, so much more than we had asked. We would recommend them to anyone. We can't thank them enough.
