Another great visit to Kynance, 2nd visit while staying in this part of Cornwall. Came on a great sunny day, came early afternoon while tide was out this time so could really make the most of it. Came with the family who all had a fantastic time. The waves coming in the cove today provided great fun and water was so clear. Need to come back again to try more of the different walking routes.

Fantastic views and the water looked great, but so many people there that it made it unenjoyable so we left and went to a beach with less people. Much better without people. People get in the way!

Beautiful place to visit can get a bit busy and there is a climb down but can sit at the top and enjoy the beauty just the same. The toilets are disgusting supplied by national trust.

Amazing scenery, especially the raw and rugged rocks tapering into the sea.The walk down to the beach at the front of the cove is in my opinion not recommended for young children, elderly or anyone with issues with mobility as some of it can truly be described as light duty rock climbing!Every part of the adventure was breathtaking and produced many fantastic photo opportunities.

We found this cove by recommendation from another tourist while chatting on a beach. We set off early as the tide was on its way in. When we got to the car park, the charge was expensive for the time we planned ,however, the parking app was only £4 for all day. There are 2 ways to get to the cove, a harder way, and a longer , but easier way. We choose the hard way to go, and easy to come back. The views just get better and better, my only criticism is there was quite a bit of dog poo along the path. While on the subject, there was quite a few dogs running wild on the beach too.The cove itself is great for exploring, we headed to the far side as we were aware the tide was coming, and can easily get cut off from the main side. After a decent walk, we went to the cafe, there was a decent choice of food and drinks. I also noticed the cafe guy was picking up litter around the cove an hour or so earlier. Very commendable and the whole area was litter free.Personal preference would be to ban dogs from the place during the tourist season. Dogs are great, but owners really let themselves down by not picking up after the dogs, or leaving the bags around for no other reason than being lazy.We will definitely return to the cove, it’s a stunning place to see and visit. The walk back gave different views and worth the effort.Edit. Returned in July 2023. Chalk and cheese. Tide was in and the sea was wild. Absolutely loved it. What a place.

This is a lovely beach, but you need to get the tide right. There are 2 routes down from the National Trust car park, one has some steep stairs and the second is a long slow walk.Once down there are some magnificent views.Get the timing right and you can see some beautiful sunsets from the headland overlooking the cove.
