Absolutely disgusted in the place. A while back I had to come here for a scan, waited 6 hours just for a doctor to blaintly call me fat. Left feeling horrified and ashamed. Now my autistic fiancé has been sent here. Been waiting over 2 hours while others that came after us have left long ago. They say their patients are their No1 focus in here? Don't see how!

My daughter had the misfortune of having to attend last night. The lack of care and compassion disgusts me that was the nurses the Dr on the other hand showed care and compassion. My daughter was lying on the floor vomiting in extreme pain. The dripmachine kept buzzing saying there was an air bubble they just turned it off.needless to say we will be taking this morning much further. No one treats my daughter like that never! My daughter is double vaccinated she didnt ask to get Covid.I will not be fobbed off been there done that!

Arrived at A&E after paramedic was at my house .. was there for bloods & ECG. Gave triage nurse my form from paramedic stating why I was there. Triage nurse took blood while other person typed in my details and took blood pressure. Waited for hours and still no ECG done. When a lovely Doctor called me to speak to me he started asking me questions not relating to me … the triage nurse never mentioned my symptoms. So then the Doctor asked the triage nurse to do an ECG on me and she very rudely refused said she was busy. Her attitude was disgusting to this Doctor. Then after I got an X-ray I pleasantly said to her where do I go now I just had X-ray and I’m on list now for ECG…. She abruptly said I know you are just wait here and you will be called. She was very rude. Then when I finally went in for ECG I asked her would my bloods be back soon as I had been there for hours .. she said I will have to wait hours on bloods I explained that she took my bloods earlier that day and she said to me I only took your bloods 10 mins ago!!!!! (Absolute nonsense)Anyway heart specialist came to talk to me ( very professional gentleman) bloods came back and he’s sending me this week for heart scan and monitor.I just have to state in this review that the 2 doctors who dealt with me and a lovely nurse called Orla and another called Rebekah were first class in their field of work.I honestly think the trust needs to have a meeting with their triage nurses on shift Sunday daytime 31/07/22 as I found them to be unprofessional& rude. Can I also mention that the 2 receptionists both need personality transplants … it’s stressful enough feeling ill going to A&E without having to deal with staff with no manners. I’m not the type of person to complain but there needs to be a change in this department and training in dealing with genuinely sick people in an acceptable manner.

My partner is Type 1 diabetic and their insulin pen broke, we just moved that day, they kept ask why they need needles and treated them like a junkie by the Triage Nurse even though they checked their blood sugar and it was clearly high!My partner never asked for any needles, all we came for was to get an insulin pen since it was 19:30 in the evening... The Triage Nurse felt highly unprofessional, the receptionist were amazing though! Fast, helpful and super polite!

Appalling treatment of people, especially the elderly. A 87 year old with chest pains have to wait nearly 12 hours. Admitting 1 person into the ward every 1 hour and 20 mins. Disgusting, different if it was one of their own as I seen a nurse getting treatment before the rest of us after coming in behind us. Unreal!!!

Just returned from Antrim hospital, never before had I been treated in such an appalling manner. My asthma is very severe and I have several allergies, that cause a severe allergic reaction.I attended this evening after being advised to go by my GP.I had a reaction to perfume 8 weeks ago. I have been a prisoner in my own home for the last 8 weeks. I rarely go out as I react to nearly everything.I attended Antrim hospital as I was having chest pains this evening, I approached the reception desk, told the receptionist I have severe asthma, and would like to sit out in the car park, receptionist said no we don't allow that, I explained have I have no control over the asthma and I need to be kept away from perfume.I got called in by 3 nurses tri-aging, I told them I had severe asthma and I needed to be kept away from perfume, they took no notice. I was called for an ecg, where the nurse shouted at me put my hand down, I said that I was struggling to breathe, she told me to get a grip.I went to the desk and told the man at the desk what happenedand said that i was going home as I have PTSD and would not allow myself to be bullied , he burst out laughing.Sorry the NHS staff can abuse us anyway they like but we have no recourse.

Instead of helping children who have had an accident/fall they give them a quick glance at say they are fine then blame the parents for the accident! Also make wrongful social reports with no reason! Complete joke. Long waiting time even when the place is practically empty also.
