Before writing this review I have allowed The Dirty Habit to reply to my email requesting clarification,but they have not replied.We visited with friends for food and drinks and had a great afternoon spending significant amounts of money. We noticed there were a number of children running around the place. So we decided to visit again with our childrenWe spent time finging a table and picked from the menu (sat opposite the bar),and then only when we went to order did they say our daughter of 14 was not allowed in due to her having what they said were sports shorts on (along with a shirt).Rather than make. Scene we left and emailed them.Why does dress code apply to children?If she had been in inappropriate clothes for a 14 year old of bottom showing shorts and a crop top she would have been allowed to stay.It is just ridiculous, will not be going back as they clearly don't value good parenting or manners.

genuinely want my ashes spread in this place. me and my boyfriend come about once a month since it opened and have never had a bad experience. the cocktails are so bomb and legit if i was on deaths row and i had to pick my last meal id have a bottomless supply of dirty talks. service is absolutely unparalleled. amazing amazing amazing

The best place in chesterfield!! The cocktails are to die for and the service is always just exceptional they always make us feel welcome and are lovely to talk to. If you’ve not been you haven’t lived!!

Very unhappy, got refused entry tonight because of my attire (shorts), although I wore the exact same thing last week without any trouble. Unsure of your issue of shorts, especially on a Tuesday. My mate in his £5 primark shorts was fine. But my Hugo Boss shorts was unacceptable! I wear shorts due to a medical condition. Maybe you need to reassess your values.

Refused service due to sports attire.!!This was on Tuesday with no customers, lady was polite letting us know, management is strict on dress code.This place clearly does not look like a fine dining.It's not what you wear, it's how you treat customers, that bring you business.

The Dirty Habit is a lovely and lively bar. The cheeseboards are absolutely amazing and are massive for the price we paid.The atmosphere was lovely and staff are really helpful and friendly.I will definitely be going back for another evening there. Oh, I recommend you book a booth because it gets very busy.

Quality place....I have gone past this place numerous times and to be honest didn't even realise. However me and my friends saw it tonight and thought we would see what it's like...As you can see from all my other reviews I am very honest.So, if you want a quality cheeseboard and drink that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Definitely go here. Very surprised with the board and the quality of cheeses were great. We all had a panini too (£2.50) ridiculously well priced. We couldn't finish it all!Washed down with a cocktail each which were very decent.Only criticism, it would be great for staff to be a little more attentive.Aside from that, well worth a visit!

Fantastic Bar, Fantastic cocktails they literally can not do enough for you, fantastic offers on cocktails 5-7 most nights definitely worth a visit and above the rest in Chesterfield ❤️

Absolute quality. Rustic, inviting and laid back. The perfect venue for a relaxing evening out. The staff were friendly and efficient and catered to our every need. The food was second to none. If you enjoy a cheese board, you have to try the Dirty Habits... You won't be disappointed.
