Slice of Sicily in Fulwood
Very nice place. Food is so nice and very big portions but you get to take home any food that you don't eat. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a range of different occasions

Dreadful service, food and speed. Do not visit. The standards of this restaurant over the last couple of years has diminished severely. The service, price and speed of food being delivered to the table was exceptional. The service now took a while to be seated and I waited 15 minutes before I was even asked if I wanted a drink. Once I ordered a drink and food it took 20 minutes before my started and then a further 45 minutes waiting for a pasta. The pasta was hard throughout and the pasta sauce tasted like tomato ketchup. The meatballs were liquidized pork in a ball. Dreadful service, food and speed. Do not visit

I'm not one to slate an eating establishment, But for a New Years Eve meal, with one other table in the restaurant occupied I'm absolutely appalled... The young girl serving on her own couldn't of tried any harder however.... the food was an absolute shambles... 4 Rump steaks that arrived very quick and looking like £1.20 frying steak from Aldi... The presentation was awful, like it was thrown on the plate with chips uncooked mushrooms and chopped tomatoes that were stone cold. I'm all for seasoning a steak but one of our party literally couldn't eat a mouthful as it was drowned in salt, as were the chips, mushrooms and the sauces we got with the meals... nice place.. walking distance to a good pub, that serve top food all the time!!! They really need to take more pride in presentation, but a serious look at the kitchen staff is needed as it's hands down one of the worst meals we have all ever eaten!!! (First ever review I/we have ever wrote... It must of been bad)

Sorry to say a disappointing experience. My food was awful and my friends order was not timed right re the garlic bread despite specifying it as a main meal accompaniment. The desserts did not seem of a good quality either. Waiter was friendly but that’s the only up side. Feel the food quality has gone from excellent a few years ago to below average now. I can cook better and that is never a good sign, wish we had gone elsewhere.

I really like the food here and I also used to really like the service as well, however over the past 6 months this has dipped dramatically. I believe this maybe due to management as staff turn over is quite high, I have been in a few times recently and the staff seem new each time. Even when there are only two or three tables in service takes a fair amount of time and although I think the manager has good intentions he comes off quite rude. This makes for an awkward meal and even though I used to eat there regularly I won't be going back for a while, which is a shame.

This place was recommended to me by a friend.Sorry to say it was one of the worst Italian experiences I've ever had.The service was OK (to start with), but the food and drinks were terrible and shocking. Flavourless cheap meats and ingredients, the chips were standard frozen stuff, bottled water from Bookers or Costco shouldn't be on display in my opinion. You'd be better off going shopping and cooking yourself at homeThis may have been a good little place at one time, but certainly not anymore.Final word to the owners, be careful not to call customers names or moan about them in Italian between staff......some customers are quite fluent in Italian.

Excellent service. Staff very attentive and good food. Don't listen to the negative feedback just go and try it for your self. Alot cheaper than Checcos and better ambiance which is why they are still in business possibly why it's still doing well.

How does this place survive with these prices for average food? My first experience was a disaster. £65 for a basic meal for 2 which I could have got for under £30 next door at the black bull pub. I was embarrassed to entertain a business customer there. However, it was very clean, and a mass of chips filled up the plate made up of 2 mushrooms, half a tomato and a 'slice' of sirloin steak which was never, ever 8oz prior to cooking!! Plenty of profit there for slice of sicily. I will vote with my feet and pass this by in future..............................

Today we turned up to the Fulwood restaurant for a meal at 12.00 noon for a leaving party for 15 of us, this had been booked in advance and we spoke to someone on Friday 16th and gave the food orders. When we turned up today they were shut, not a person to be seen. the opening times were 10.00am -10.00pm but you were closed. Noone had been in touch with us to inform us of any problems. There was no notice on the door! you can imagine how disappointed we were as this had been booked for 2 weeks.Thank goodness for the Black Bull in Fulwood, they were brilliant and accommodated us all with quick service and excellent food!
