TinyTalk Milton Keynes and Olney: Baby Signing

Really enjoy the classes! They are such a fun way to learn baby sign and to allow my little one to learn to communicate. I’d been trying to learn at home with my baby but this is so much more engaging and a sociable way to learn and then to carry through at home. It’s also a great way to meet other parents too.

I joined Fiona's signing group not sure what to expect, after having my first child I thought this was an amazing skill to have. I've made some beautiful friends and the classes are nice and relaxed and really fun for the kids. My daughter absolutely loves these classes and it's so nice to socialise with mums. I would highly recommend these classes. Fiona is also kind enough to work around my work and allow me to attend every other week, which is just super kind. Xx

I’m So glad I joined the class. Since studying child psychology in Uni I knew teaching baby sign language has a massive benefit for children so I was really keen to do this with my baby. I was so happy to see there was a class in Milton Keynes. The great thing about Tiny Talk is that it’s run by a welcoming, down to earth mum, just like us, who is so relatable. The whole group had a lovely feel, my baby can crawl around and another mummy will happily interact with her, just as I would for any baby that approaches me. The social time for me has been really nice to talk and ask advice on anything with other mummys.

Lily and I thoroughly enjoy our signing class. Learning through play is the best method and these sessions are fun and engaging with lots of upbeat songs and props. It’s a great place to meet new mums and for Lily to develop her social skills.

After having previously taken my daughter to TinyTalk baby signing class whilst on maternity, I was really happy to find out that the sessions were back on after it had stopped due to the franchise changing hands.Fiona is wonderful and engaging, my toddler absolutely loves attending her Friday classes (usually wanting to go as soon as she wakes up). I really believe that the exposure she had in the baby classes is the reason why she's so chatty now at nearly 3yrs old. The fact that she no longer needs to sign to communicate but still enjoys learning new ways of interacting with others shows me the importance of continuing past the baby classes.The sessions are a mix of songs, play and stories where new signs are incorporated as part of that weeks' theme. The second half of the session is a hot drink for the adults and some playtime for the children, which I find a nice time to socialise with other like-minded parents.Thanks so much for starting these classes back up Fiona, it's been lovely to come back!
