I needed a lot of advice regarding choosing a drive away awning for my microcamper which is not the more popular type T4/T5 campervan size. I had to return one [another company] due to being advised it would fit when it proved to be too big. Lauren and Joel have really gone out of their way to help and make sure I have the right size awning etc. Nothing is too much trouble and their advice is second to none. The result being I was able to have a superb camp in Cornwall recently. I am very grateful. Thank you.

Guy ropes on my tent had degraded and found this the only pkace to sell them.Bought 6 decent 2nd hand guy ropes for £1 each which got me out of trouble.Thanks Mark.

I have visited the area twice a year for several years and make a point of visiting this shop. Rarely do I not make a purchase and at all times the staff have been cheerful and immensely helpful particularly helping my daughter choose the correct inflatable mattress and dismantling and packaging a fairly large display item then offering a discount on it without having been asked. Would thoroughly recommend this shop.

Needed an additional part for a van awning/sun canopy, not in stock but ordered and arrived within a couple of days for pick up. Competitive priced compared to just on- line stores with bonus of actually seeing item ! Very pleasant helpful staff

Loved it. All the refills you could want, including shampoo and milk. Excellent quality produce. An absolute gem that leaves you with no excuse to go to Sainsburys!

We happened across this shop when having a trip to North Devon in our camper which we got in December last year. I wanted to buy a drive away awning so we went to explore. They have a great stock of really good quality camping equipment. We purchased our awning and a few other items, and Julie has been so helpful in acquiring some blinds for our windscreen and front windows on our behalf which I know hasn’t been an easy task. She kept me well informed throughout and has also accommodated exchanging an item that we purchased from her that wasn’t suitable without any concern. When I went to collect the blinds, Roger then spent time helping me to make sure they fitted and we were happy with them, knowing that there was a possibility they wouldn’t fit and offering us a refund if we weren’t happy. Although it is an hour and a half drive from us I am sure we will be back as the customer service has been second to none, and we can combine it with being in one of our favourite places - North Devon.

One of the most friendliest and helpful places I’ve ever visited! I was camping in Newquay in a tent I’d purchased in Manchester and one of the air beams popped. This place not only had a spare Airbeam in stock but liaised with Coleman to ensure it was the correct one and we’re able to provide me with a completely free replacement as they “will probably be able to claim the cost back from the manufacturer Coleman”! Genuinely above and beyond on customer service and help as a whole. Most businesses would have charged me and looked to claim the money back as well but not Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies. I was in dire straits and needed this air beam to continue our family holiday and they went above and beyond what any other business would have done. The lady who helped me went the extra mile; she was so helpful and accommodating to make sure we could continue our family holiday. She genuinely was more concerned about helping us than making a profit and that shows how genuine this place is so not only do I highly recommend this business to any campers or caravaners but even though it’s 400 miles from where I live, I’ll look to purchase all my equipment from them in the future (and ask them for advice as I know it will be genuine). I good not be happier! Thank you
