This company sells a dangerously faulty vehicle, and then arrogantly refuses to repair it - despite the vehicle having a year of its guarantee to run. This vehicle should be subject to a general recall, but they suggested I drive it across the country, and then they may or may not repair it, and I may or may not have to pay for the repairs. My two year old Wildax Triton has three faults, one dangerous, and one potentially lethal. Several weeks ago I wrote to them about this, but the response from the company, ranging from the engineer to the MD Duncan Wildman has been arrogant, high-handed and dismissive.

I bought a Europa in 2018, and whilst I had a few issues related to poor finishing, which caused a burn on surrounding wood, due to fridge flame being blown on to it, because of poor workmanship on the ducting, a poor plumbing job that resulted in a flood in kitchen area, but these issues, are minor, compared to a more fundamental issue of very poor insulation. There were bare metal areas over the cab, with no insulation, and I had to insulate the doors due to the shockingly poor factory job. Wildax make a point on telling you how they reach cat 3 level of insulation, that must be an incredible low bar, given what I found, when I did the doors. The front doors had absolutely no insulation at all, the back doors had a few bits of adhesive backed foam, that was only applied to the easily accessed areas. There were large areas of bare metal, and the thin foam that was in place was no longer stuck down, it was just lying in the back doors, flapping about, doing nothing. An appaling level of workmanship. The side doors were almost the same, but more of the foam remained stuck down. There were large areas of bare metal in the side door. They seemed to only bother covering the areas they could do quickly, without any effort. The foam applied was very thin, and if the rest of the van is insulated with such minimal effort, it doesn't bode well. It looks like all their effort is directed to what you can see, and sod the rest. Hindsight is wonderful, and if I was to be back at the beginning I would not be buying a Wildax, but if you are looking at one, then ask them to take off a panel on the back door, so you can see what the insulation was like, and if the same ad mine, walk away. I have attached some photos of the doors on my van, so you can see if it meets your idea of high spec insulation. I doubt it will.

Our experience of this company and, their dealer E S Hartley, was a 2 months nightmare after buying one of their campervans at £54,535.We'd read all the positive reviews on Google, YouTube etc. We'd seen the self promoting videos of their awarded certificates too. Thus we fell for this information.Without going into details, the experience we suffered with a multi-faults vehicle was a disgrace. The worst being a continual leaking door (as well as disgusting customer service) and what follows:After repeatedly getting faults put right (scratches on the external bodywork, a faulty seatbelt, faulty toilet seat, lights not working, lugs missing etc) and, the van needing 5 days in their bodyshop to be resprayed after paint came off while repairing a faulty seal, we decided to invoke our Consumer Rights act of 2015 to reject this vehicle within the first 30 days from new for a refund, despite their resistance (we'd got it from their poor dealer E S Hartley, based in Kendal). We repeatedly allowed their requests to let them do repairs and, do a 'water test' and attempts to fix the leaking door and, repair a faulty TV aerial system. Both of which we had to actually prove were faulty after their 'report' said there was no faults! Unbelievable attempts at denying obvious faults. Only with returning again and again they couldn't ignore the obvious leaking door. They replaced the TV aerial system wire and connector. Now, don't misunderstand, other people say they've had a good experience with their vehicle purchase (if those reviews are to be believed). But, in hindsight, we wish we'd have ignored these dubious reviews. Some might have been genuine but, we'll never know the truth.(Note: I got censored then booted off a 'Wildax Enthusiast's' group on Facebook for asking if anyone else had experienced these issues and, for sharing 'negative' information. They clearly only wanted positive comments and promotion of Wildax). So, before you are lured by all the seemingly positive reviews about Wildax and, their dealer E S Hartley in Kendal, ask yourself where the negatives reviews are and, ask around. If we'd have known beforehand, we'd never have entered into any vehicle purchase from Wildax via their dealer E S Hartley and, we never will again. We never even got any apology or, offer to compensate us for huge stress, from either Wildax or E S Hartley. Only pure arrogance and lack of communication by ignoring our emails.#Wildax #Campervan #Reviews #Motorhome #Avoid

We purchased a WildAx Aurora in2013 and have been extremely happy with it. The customer service from this company is extraordinary. Their CS Manager Danny Parker is exceptional in his dedication to customer satisfaction. Small niggling problems were fixed without issue. They even arranged to store our van over the winter at Elland Hall. They stripped down the water system for winter storage, retrieved it prior to our arrival, did the habitation check and even picked us up from the local station. The product and the people are outstanding.

Excellent after sales , thank you Lisa.I do agree with a fellow reviewer , avoid E.S. Hartley at all costs !They are good up to the point of sale then there after their support is non existent. As to their workmanship, it is atrocious. Well it was for me, I have photo's to prove it.Once more thank you for your support and aftersales from the WildAx team.

We recently visited this company as one of their motorhomes was on our shortlist. Unfortunately the model concerned, whilst ideal for anyone wanting a double bed, wasn't right for us as we preferred two singles. As singles the beds were a little narrow for us, although they may well be fine for two slimmer people!. I was moved to write this review however as I was very impressed with the motorhomes and with the company's entire ethos. The MH was very well made and we would have been able to tailor it to our exact specification, something that is not possible with some of the bigger manufacturers. There was no hard sell and we were left at one point to just sit in it and make observations without a member of their staff present. I came away with the impression of a first class company that will go the extra mile for its customers. It was a great pity that they didn't have a model that was exactly the layout that we required.
