Great riding school.Big space.Staff are very tentative and horses look happy and well cared for.

I take my grandchildren here when they come over from America. Sharon is so accommodating and friendly. The riding school is always a highlight of my granddaughter’s visit. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices too. I have been elsewhere, not only was it more expensive, their time on the ponies were rushed and they didn’t get the half hour paid for. Great team at Hunters Lodge.

A lovely stable run by great staff, my daughter and myself have been riding here regularly for over a year, my daughter having been a total beginner and myself having not ridden for around 20+ yrs, haven't a bad word to say about our experiences, but certainly have never found any of the staff rude"."

As somebody who has ridden at many riding schools I don’t think i’ll ever find one as loving, caring and inclusive as Hunters Lodge Riding School. I started riding here a few months ago after having not ridden in over four years and in such a short amount of time I have gained so much confidence. The staff here are absolutely amazing and the horses are so lovely to ride and cared for to an outstanding level. Not only is it one of the most reasonable priced stables i’ve ever come across, but the staff and horses are able to cater to everyone despite needs and abilities. I never once felt like I was being judged here for what I am capable of (which happens at a lot of other riding schools) but instead received heaps of encouragement which has made me progress an amazing amount. This place has truly felt like a home away from home whilst i’ve been at University and i’m going to miss it the most. So if you’re looking to start riding lessons near Chichester or want to take your child here for a pony ride, there is no where I could recommend more than this!Thank you Sharon and the rest of the Hunter Lodge Team.

Fantastic place for a child's birthday

Had a trip to the local area. Booked a lesson on the phone for my daughter. Good set up and cheep.

Really friendly riding centre, I'd had a bad experience with a different riding school which made me nervouse to go to another, but I'm so glad I did. They're really friendly at Hunters lodge, the horses are lovely and the lessons are great, very informative and I learnt techniques quite quickly. There's no pressure to do things and they check if you're comfortable. Very reasonably priced, well worth going to, I'll be going back for more lessons when I get time.

This is a great riding school with both indoor and outdoor schooling areas and very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Liverty is also available. Highly recommended
