What a Van! We loved our time with ‘Hamish’! Roddy has decked this guy out. The process of renting was super slick and simple. Can’t wait for more adventures !

We hired Hamish for a film shoot in the Lake District as both a feature in the short film and as transportation and we could not have been happier!Such a great character, amazing to drive and had so much help with everything from the Owner Roddy! x

Hamish (the van) was absolutely amazing. My partner and I spent three nights roaming the Jurassic coast and it was super cosy thanks to the van. Its owner (Roddy) was extremely accommodating and nice, the reworked interior was great and you could really tell that a lot of love and thought went on during the process. Would absolutely recommend and go on another trip with him!

My girlfriend and I had the most epic advanture with Hamish around Northern Wales and Snowdonia. He was so comfortable, I had the best sleep I'd had in years! All the little touches Roddy has added makes riding in Hamish a unique and special experience full of charm and style. The rental procedure was painless and Hamish ran like a champ! We had a blast!

My girlfriend and I travelled in Hamish around Dorset last summer and it was amazing. The van was spacious, practical and being righthand drive was useful for someone who hasn’t driven for a few years (a lot of campers are European/lefthand drive). Rodney was a great help and always reachable via WhatsApp. Would use again and highly recommend.

We hired Hamish to drive to Cornwall in Summer 2020. He was easy to drive and the interior was lovely and cosy, a great place to chill in the evenings after exploring the beaches. He definitely has a lot more character than hiring a newer campervan and Roddy was super helpful with planning and communicating before and after our trip. (Just be sure to check whether you drove through the congestion zone when picking Hamish up, as we got stung by a fine when we returned!). Definitely keen to hire Hamish again in the next few years :)

Had a great weekend away in Hamish down by the sea. Our first experience in a converted camper and it won't be our last. Hamish is very comfortable, plenty big enough for 2 and the panoramic windows really are beautiful to look out of whilst having a brew. The van has everything you need for a short trip away bar a toilet, but we knew this before we left and out of covid times it is probably easier to find a loo on the go. No problems at all with the rental experience and we would definitely rent again with Roddy as he was flexible and helpful. Go for an adventure in Hamish, you will only wish you had more time!

Hamish was just perfect! His design is warm and welcoming. He had everything we needed for a long weekend road trip to the Jurassic Coast and Dorset. We were able to stay literally on the seaside and enjoy stunning views of the Coast during sunrise. Roddy was very helpful and accommodating, especially because I booked the van just few hours before pick up time. He also gave us good advice on where to go and sleep. I would definitely travel again with Hamish again!

My wife, two children (7 & 2) and myself have just spent a fantastic, relaxing and comfortable long weekend in Hamish. The van has character - from the reclaimed wood to the sentimental suitcase/cabinet - and was well-equipped, with storage space galore. It ran well, too, with no hitches on our journey. The bed was big enough for two adults and a toddler, and the front cabin transformed into a single for my eldest. This was our first campervan experience, but getting used to its workings (bed, gas, water, leisure batteries, etc) was made easy thanks to Hamish's owner Roddy: professional, affable, on-hand and all-round likeable. The whole experience was five stars.

We had a fantastic time exploring the Western Isles in Isla. She's not a nippy van, but we soon felt confident enough driving her on the motorway and she took on the small roads and hills of Skye and Raasay like a champ. We absolutely loved the economy of space and all the thoughtful touches inside. Tonnes of storage, big cosy bed, cooker, sink and solar panel made staying in Isla a super comfy experience. She took us to some glorious spots and we miss her already!
