Went last night for the live music event booked by the landlady Sheril and wow what a night, the country singer Megan Rose and her partner were incredible and the atmosphere in the pub was brilliant, I’ve seen a couple of the live acts now in there and have been impressed by the standard, and the staff were fab as always, it was so busy but we got served really quickly thank you all at Paul pry

Lovely Christmas Dinner on the 2nd December. Table dressed nicely. Staff very attentive... food was hot and tasty..price was very reasonable too..all round 5 *.

We ordered medium rare sirloin steaks that came well done. 2 out of 3 sauces were out of stock. Meat quality was average and ivercooked, rocket salad looked tired, side salad even more tired. Chips were alright. Not even sure why chef thinks it’s appropriate to send a food like this. We were hungry, so ate some of the meat, leftovers gave to our dog - he enjoyed it!

What a lovely surprise! I was out of area today, and walked into a pub I haven't been in for near 30 years. It was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, easy on the eye, very comfortable seating areas, booths etc. Open fire, very clean, excellent service. Very very welcoming, can't wait to return!

We held our wedding reception here on Tuesday 31st May . Cheryl and the team put on a fantastic spread . Everyone commented on how lovely the food was . Cheryl decorated the conservatory area for us , even getting new helium balloons for us when ours failed !! We had a fantastic day and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect location to celebrate . Thanks guys.

Went here for Sunday lunch with my partner and young son. Very welcoming atmosphere, food was fantastic and a great price also. Genuinely a lovely little find and will absolutely be returning.

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and nice selection of drinks. The bar staff are all a friendly bunch and lovely food at good prices. Can highly recommend the burgers. Nice thin patties and you get two of them in the bun.
