My friends and I stopped by the Brasserie and asked for directions from the friendly staff. It was a nice short hike up to see Highland Coos. A very doable hike and very pretty as well. You can go higher up but we stopped after seeing the Highland Coos. We ended the hike with a nice breakfast of pancakes, a plate of Scottish breakfast, and a breakfast roll at the Brasserie (it was affordable as well!)

Great place to see the Highland Cows. It was about a 20min hike before we got to see them. And it's not a terrible hike at all. I'd say even if you're a beginner hiker it shouldn't be difficult. I'm so glad I made the trip out here to see the cows. Definitely recommend if you're driving near Edinburgh.
