Bridgehouse Marina & Caravan Park
Love this site! Just spent 2 nights here on our first visit to garstang and can safely say this is now our favourite campsite (we've had our caravan since march). We had a fully serviced pitch which is in a lovely wooded area next to the playground and dog walking area. The site is nice and secure with key fob entry to the site and also to the new toilet and shower block which was spotless. The shower cubicles are huge and include a toilet and sink and there's lots of places to hang clothes, towels and put toiletries etc. There's also a laundry room, pot washing room, dog wash room and games room. Bridge 64 the onsite cafe/restaurant is great, we had dinner in there on the first night. The menu was good and the staff were lovely. They also do coffees cakes, breakfasts etc. The marina itself is really pretty and you can walk easily into Garstang down the canal. Took us 15 mins. We will definitely be returning to Bridgehouse Marina Caravan Park!

We came late to this campingsite and it was closed already. Somebody noticed us standing in the rain and they welcomed us warmly nonetheless! Great showers and restrooms (there is calm music playing 24/7!), clean and you will have your own" little bath with shower

Great set up. Great price. Metered electric for motor home and caravans. Pleasant staff. Provided with information booklet on arrival. Cafe/bar on site. Live singers on certain nights. 20 min walk into Garstang along canal. Will definitely visit again. Thanks.

I attended a lovely course hosted by Diane in Unit 4 - Crafty Diane's shop, gallery and craft workshop. I'd no idea the marina, campsite and cafe even existed. What a find! It's a beautiful setting, well tended and welcoming. The cafe is licenced and has both indoor and outdoor seating. There are boats for hire and for sale.

Bridgehouse Marina itself is a lovely spot. As a boater my experience has mainly been on the marina and the toilet facilities and shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have been coming to bridgehouse for over 5 years. Sadly the reason for knocking a star off is due to the cafe. Whilst I’m aware they are separate from the marina, it’s an important part of the site and one many people would specifically go to visit. Since the new owners have taken over the cafe, the food and service has sadly been consistently bad. Far too expensive for the quality of food offered, it’s a real shame as it’s not sustainable for them. Otherwise, the marina is lovely. Hopefully the cafe sorts itself out in the future.

The site is lovely and location is great. The new toilet block is also a great addition, however the electricity prices are ridiculous. We stayed for 2 nights and spent £30 on electricity alone. We weren't even in the van for one of the nights. We ended up having to switch everything over to gas as on the final night it ran out at 5am. This is a real shame as I've been visiting here for years with my family. It's definitely put me off and we won't be returning.

This is now my favourite caravan site, amazing shower/toilet facilities. Very secure and safe. The dog walk area and playground is perfect for our needs. Fully serviced pitch area is worth it. Only a 15 walk down the canal into Garstang. The Bridge 64 bar restaurant on site is a must, walling farm ice-cream and a decent menu. Reception even sell carvan bits and Bobs if you need to fix anything while you're there. There is Burlinghams carvan sales and accessories shop 5 minutes up the road and plenty to do in the surrounding area
