Country Pooch

Country Pooch is fantastic! My dog goes weekly in their doggy taxi and he loves it. The events during seasonal periods for the dogs and daily photos/updates are the best thing to read at the end of the day.Cons are that they don’t like feedback and as a regular member I have to give 1 months notice if I need to cancel, 48 or 72 hours is too short notice so you lose what you paid for the day.

Country Pooch is an outstanding centre for anything and everything related to pups!!.This is the place that any dog owner wishes they had found sooner.We’ve used Country Pooch for both their daycare facilities, as well as puppy training/obedience training for our feisty German Shepherd/Husky.Steve, the lead behaviourist, is one of the most down to earth and friendly people we’ve ever met. We’ve used several training companies before and where either made to feel a bit silly or we found we just couldn’t get the answers we needed for our highly driven breed.Since finding Steve our pup has developed from borderline impossible to handle, to an incredibly happy and well rounded dog. Steve has helped us with reactivity, lead walking, engagement for early obedience skills, and much more. All done in a fun, social and educational environment.They also have 2 fields available for hire that are massive, and have secure boundaries, which allows for some superb decompression for our dog. And as a bonus the scenery is absolutely stunning as well.All the team at Country Pooch are friendly, caring, and clearly have a passion for everything they do.We can’t Thankyou enough.

I use country pooch for daycare and walking paddocks on the weekends!The staff are all amazing at daycare! So much time and effort is put in to making sure the dogs are well cared for and have the best time possible! At the end of every service I get a wonderful service report which tells me all the things my 2 dogs have done along with lovely photos! I wouldn’t trust anyone more than country pooch with my dogs!! They are amazing!I regularly use the walking paddocks! It’s nice to be able to take both dogs out and let them run around off lead! It’s also perfect for when I train my dogs as they don’t get the distractions that we get in the forest and the parks!Couldn’t recommend enough!

An incredible doggy day care! Mabel is treated so well and we always get little reports with pictures so i know what she’s getting up to during the day! She’s absolutely knackered when she gets home too!

Amazing venue for dog day care and training alike consists of 4 large paddocks and multiple indoor rooms for enrichment and relaxation. Indoor space consists of a doggy beach for digging in the sand. Jungle gym room for climbing and exploring and a junk room for foraging and searching for treats.

A kind, caring and engaged team. They respond to queries efficiently and helpfully, the daycare set up is brilliant and the staff just seem to love dogs! They were great with our retriever when she first went as a puppy and she absolutely loves it there. I feel comfortable to leave her knowing she's in safe hands. Thank you!

Without doubt brilliant care of Ozzy German shorthaired pointer. Wonderful staff who go the extra mile and would wholeheartedly recommend country pouch to all dog owners.

We visited the Country Pooch Play Paddock yesterday (late November).The site is clean, well maintained and has all the facilities you need for a wonderful trip out with your dog.It is easy to find using Google Maps. You park in the paddock which means you must be conscientious about the time you leave as other people will be waiting! There is room for 2 cars in the paddock, any more than that and I think parking would be on the lane opposite the turning in to the site.The paddock is safe, secure and well maintained.There are mown areas to play and train in and paths have been mown to make it easy to wander around.There are also rough grass areas to explore with your dogs which we found really useful when encouraging our spaniel to find his toys for hunting practise.In the paddock there is also a bench and table to sit at, so you can let your dog run free whilst you relax and enjoy a thermos of hot chocolate.The Play Paddock has plenty of play equipment to help enrich your dog's time there too. All of the equipment was well maintained and clean.There is fresh water and a poo bin on site too.The only issue we had was the approach from the A3090 (the dual carriageway going toward Romsey from the Ower services). The turning off the dual carriageway could be quite daunting if it is busy as you have to cross two lanes of dual carriageway to get to the site's access road.Also, the lane is very narrow and will not accommodate two cars at a time. So, if you meet someone on your way to or from the site then someone will be reversing!My recommendation would be to get there slightly early so that when you arrive the people who are there before you are still using the paddock. That way you will miss traffic on the lane and also your presence will remind the current users that their time is almost up.These would be very minor inconveniences bearing in mind the standard of the facilities on offer.We can't wait to go back!There is also a canine training school on site which we are excited to find out more about. All in all an absolute treasure of a find!

Absolutely Amazing!From the initial meet and greet to now collecting and taking care of my beloved pup while I’m at work through the week I just can’t recommend this place enough!They’ve been incredible with my pup and unbelievably patient with her throughout her learning stages.All of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and fantastic with the dogs and this is now our go to place for all of our day care needs.10/10

This photo says it all for me. Eva, my greyhound at daycare feeling confident and safe and loved. She has been going to country pooch for about 4 months now. I was very apprehensive about sending her to *school* but she has always been a very sociable dog and I wanted her to have safe off lead interactions with other dogs. She loves it! She has grown in confidence so much, and when the *woof bus* turns up to pick her up she is so excited. Thank you to Hannah and your team, a very special place indeed.
