Rhossili bay Beach
One of THE most stunning stretches of sandy beach, beautifully clean and great for walks, surfing or just enjoying the view from the top.Toilets & places to stop for food are available at the car park overlooking the bay which makes it accessible to all, however, its quite a distance down to the beach via a path & steps for those that can't walk too far.

An absolutely beautiful beach with miles to explore. When the Sun is out and the sky is blue, it's hard to beat being at the beach and Rhossili was just tremendous.Parking locally for £3 (up to 2 hours) or £5 (for all day) you can choose how long to stay. Food, ice cream and drinks can all be had near the car park as well.

Outstanding area of natural beauty possibly the best in S. Wales.A stunning 3 mile sandy beach set against a raw backdrop of the steep cliffs. The walk down is steep, slippery when wet, contains steps and is rough in places. A mild workout if you're fit but there are benches on the way for the rest of us.The beach itself is dog friendly and good for finding shells. Watch out for jelly fish both in the water and on the beach. The Wreck of the Helvetia towards the south end is worth a few minutes of reflection and presents a good photo opportunity.Above the beach is broad, level walk (just under a mile) past the National Trust shop to the old Coast Guard Station. There's not a bad time to walk here; every season has its attractions. Being west facing the sunsets can be stunning. In Summer months it gets busy but there's still usually plenty of space on the beach. As at Sept., '22, parking is either in- the National Trust car park @ £6. Payment is either via machines that accepts coins (no change) or PayByPhone app (if you can get a signal: we couldn't on O2), or- if you go further back down the road, the St Mary's church car park (£5 cash in honesty box). For a space in season, arrive early; before 1000 at the latest.

It is paradise!Everything, starting from the sandy beach to the horses walking freely on the cliff. I didn't think that I will find such a treasure in Wales. Dear Nature, you did it niiiiiicely! If you haven’t seen it - it is a must.Nice cafe next to the big parking, public toilets and showers. And nothing else which is the best part of this place. Almost pure nature.

This has to be one of the best, if not the best, unspoilt beaches in the entire British Isles. It is both stunning and rugged. Great for walking or a bit of nature watching. The local village is old and small, keeping the human impact on the area, to a minimum. The walk down to the beach is only for the able bodied, and even then, the walk back up is quite hard work for those of a certain age.On a clear day, there are great views along Pembrokshire and North Devon coasts. On a windy day, it's best to stay indoorsRhossili is about 20 miles out of Swansea, so if you make the journey, be sure to take everything you may need as there are no shops on route to pick anything up.

Amazing view and very clean beach. Beautiful sandy beach , plenty of open space Good for surfing, walking, picnic, camping...etc.People with walking disabilities will find it hard to reach the beach.Bit of walk to and from the beach. No life guards and toilets at the beach.Toilet near the car is the best option but not very clean

What a stunning beach approx 3 miles long. Just wonderful…where ever you park it’s going to be £5+ for the day. There are a few campsites that charge the one at the llangennith is the shortest walk and in the middle of the beach.

Absolutely beautiful place, huge beach, not that accessible unless you can walk a lot of stairs though just to be aware! Loaaaads of jellyfish in the sea on the second day we went but they don’t sting. Go at sunset for the best view I have seen in ages!!

Really great beach. It's only an 8 minute walk down, I know because I video recorded it. Of course a bit longer going back up again. We arrived at low tide and left at high tide. The best place to lie is near the foot of the hill if you want dry sand and not have to move when the tide comes in.I also counted 12 barrel jellyfish that were washed ashore that day. Apparently they have a very mild sting but didn't test that theory! There are no facilities on the beach itself.
