Great timber merchant. Have bought furniture board, sheet material, structural timber and fence panels from them over the last year.Always very good and informative information. Delivery as I am close by has always been the same week. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

C J Clarke are great, they always have what I need, and are always helpful with anything from the more exotic requests down to all sorts of standard timber cuts. Delivery works great too, the drivers are courteous and helpful. C J Clarke are one of the hidden gems of the trade I guess, in the heart of Witney, and always worth asking if one needs any timber building material.

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant.Emailed after a quote and they replied within an hour. I then changed what I was after and the amended quote came just as quickly.Paid over the phone and the delivery came within a couple of days. The delivery driver is a lovely fella, friendly yet professional, wearing a company branded fleece (always a good sign). Very respectful of property, delivered quickly and safely.Some of the timbers are 6m long and they're all straight with no bananas.From start to finish everything was spot on. I cannot recommend this wonderful business highly enough.

Having just moved to Witney we needed some timber for a large bespoke bookcase. Not only was the price of the wood less than an on-line supplier but Clarke's provided the timber cut to my specifications in less than a week, the on-line supplier was quoting the new year.. The final pack was delivered well protected and at the time they promised.I will certainly use them again.
