Fish had lost most of the batter to the paper that it was wrapped in. The chips were cold and had seen better days. Not at all happy a happy customer. Don't get it delivered go to the shop it might be better.

Whittakers fish bar serves the best fish and chips My family and I have ever tasted. Everything is so fresh , the batter on the fish is amazing,. and the chips are just perfect. We order on line and it is delivered within the agreed time . We never leave anything on our plates, for the food is so delicious. Our orders are dealt with in a very profession way. Service is polite and friendly and we feel so lucky to have such an amazing Fish Bar in our locality. I highly recommend a visit to them , you will not be disappointed.

All food arrived hot and was absolutely delicious. All nice and fresh. Delivered in good time although the driver could have been friendlier.

Nice food again under these owners. Always busy and lots of choice. Salt n Pepper Squid was a little too salty but a beer washed it down and they once forgot my scallop which they made up for next time I went. Staff work hard and try their best. Michaela rocks!

Their app was very easy to use and well designed. Delivery was quick and driver was friendly. Food was still piping hot. The food it’s self was delicious, definitely our go to fish and chip shop!

The fish and chips is always excellant. We ordered delivery for a Friday night, so delivery took 75 minutes, but this was what the app indicated, so it was not a problem. As ever the food was fresh and hot.

Having tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, I fancied something tasty and consoling for lunch today.I ordered fish, chips and mushy peas via Uber Eats this lunchtime. We were delighted.The meal had been cooked well, was hot and seasoned to taste, nicely wrapped and presented for delivery; more to the point, it was most satisfying. Thank you. Usually, I visit the shop in person.Whittakers Fish Bar is consistently the best in my local area.

Whittakers Fish Bar
I have only used Whittakers for delivery as it is the nearest one to me that caters for Gluten Free fish & chips. It is absolutely gorgeus fish! Batter is so light and crispy, fish is huge and thick, so tasty. The service is fab and the drivers are always friendly and polite. Wouldn't order from anywhere else now, even if I found a closer one that caters for Gluten Free!
