An absolutely gorgeous property and stunning location. Fantastic service beforehand, ensuring that we had everything we needed for the perfect stay. Christine was an amazing communicator with a keen eye for detail. Really personalised experience - I’d enquired about toddler tableware and it was left out for me in an obvious location so that I had it straight to hand - super helpful! Would recommend to anyone and would be delighted to have the opportunity to stay again. Thank you!

Gill Beck Barn - The Rowley Estates
We had an amazing stay at Gill Beck Barn. For the second year in a row, we booked a long weekend just before Christmas and spent a few days eating, drinking, walking, and jigsaw-ing in a beautiful location. The house is so well set-up for that sort of thing, and the added bonuses of the christmas tree, the log burner and the aga make it a really special place to be. The Rowleys are also incredibly responsive and provide all the info you need to have a wonderful break. Thank you again!

Lovely, homey and spacious property, perfect for a family get away. Plenty of outdoor space for your furry friend as well, with every detail taken care of in terms of facilities including an outdoor dog shower! Bedrooms and bathrooms were all done to a high standard to make your stay extra comfortable. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Gill Beck Barn - The Rowley Estates
We had a wonderful short break at Gill Beck Barn, 3 couples and 3 dogs, for 4 nights. Extremely well appointed and very comfortable throughout, plus a very large and secure garden for the dogs. Clean, warm, and great attention to detail - including the lovely hamper! We would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

Gill Beck Barn - The Rowley Estates
Beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful location yet only 2 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot to the the village, where you will find a pub and toy shop. There is also an excellent bakery which is open seven days a week. This includes a cafe, general provisions and ladies clothing shop. This was our second visit to Gill Beck Barn and we have also stayed in other properties owned by Rowley Estates, as all of their properties deliver the same high standard of accommodation.

A wonderful find in a beautiful part of the country. I would thoroughly recommend Gill Beck Barn for its comfort, luxury and the quality of the accommodation. The barn was equipped to a very high standard and we all voted it the very best rental property we had ever stayed in. We also enjoyed a splendid welcome hamper!

Gill Beck Barn - The Rowley Estates
Gill Beck Barn is a great place if you want to explore the North Lakes with Keswick and Ullswater just 30 minutes away. The property is immaculate and provides you with everything you might need for your stay. There is plenty of private parking if you are using the location for meeting up with friends and the fenced off garden and gate are perfect for bringing along 4 legged members of the family. The welcome hamper provides a bit of luxury as well as the essentials for your arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful property and the hosts have thought of everything! We were greeted with a welcome basket that was overflowing with delicious treats. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Christine was very responsive and even accommodated a late check out on our last day. Our group had a great time!
