I have used dean-in past when I had a bmw so was happy to recommend him to my son in law, however I wish I hadn’t as I feel they have shafted him over something which was 100% their fault.My daughter and I called with the car to discuss a replacement door mechanism which WE had diagnosed, Dean’s son said it would cost £100 or so to supply and fit a new one but said they couldn’t do it for a few weeks, so my daughter agreed to book it for that work, I was a witness to this agreement so I’m sorry to say that Dean (who was not a witness) is wrong to say it was booked in for a diagnostic check because it certainly WAS NOT !For him to say they put it on a diagnostic check for £90 without1. discussing it with the client2. and then confirming it needed a new door mechanism which we already knew.Would be laughable if not costly !!!!!To then say it’s not £100 or so pound but £345 is deceitful, my daughter quite rightly argued the point and decided as they could not afford such a hike in quotation to decline their “help”You also don’t need a diagnostic check to look at a squeaky tyre and “wrongly” diagnose a new tyre when they were very recently renewed !!!!I can understand Dean wanting to cover up his son’s inefficiency but his ’ answer to these issues was say it was just a misunderstanding but still demand £90 for nothing is disgusting service and I for one will NEVER use him again !!No doubt he will reply to this with some attack as it’s obvious he does not accept liability or the possibility that his son could just have dropped a clanger .BEWARE ALL !Well I predicted your response which just demonstrates your mis guided belief that you’re always right !! WELL DONE

As someone who couldn't find a garage who would repair my daughters 2009 mini, 3 separate garages advised us to scrap the car , you guys arranged a collection from West Boldon, fixed the issue and also arranged the mot which had expired whilst in the garage(which I hadn't realised). First class honest service no hesitation to recommend.

Dean is really knowledgeable guy as far as BMW is concerned. He is BMW Doctor I can say. Any problems with BMW and other mechanics can’t find the fault, then Dean is your Man. With my experience I can say that he can find the fault in no time.Only problem is he never replies calls and very difficult to get hold of.

Went to several local companies to repair a water leak on my 2012 320d.None of them felt qualified to diagnose or fix it and advised taking it to a main dealer where they reckoned that the whole engine would have to come out because the leak looked to be coming from the rear of the engine.DW took 15 minutes to locate the leak and tell me that it would cost £200 to repair.Unfortunately they are so busy that the earliest they could book me in is next Friday so I can't yet comment on how good the repair will be but I'm certainly not at all worried.

Highly recommend this garage for any BMW work you need doing... Dean and Kai know their stuff and do top quality work! Hard to reach on the phone but persevere as they are very busy.Worth travelling to for this level of knowledge and skill set, will be bringing my car back for any future work!

I've used DWM three times now. Each time Dean has been friendly, helpful, patient, and polite with me.Wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Decent prices, and excellent service. The workshop is conveniently located just off the A69.

Having used DW for every repair and service including major engine maintenance I could not recommend them enough.Highly professional with years of experience. Always willing to take a look even when they're stowed off. Reasonable charges for their diagnostic skills.The quotes I've had have always been close to the final bill. I've never felt there were unnecessary charges.I've had door locks replaced, timing chain, brakes, suspension and lighting issues resolved in a timely manner.I've not heard a bad word about the garage from genuine customers.If you're worried about maintenance costs and repair bills, maybe stick to non luxury cars. These guys are always fair with their costs.However...answering the phone every now and again would be nice ;-)Will continue to use DW as long as I own a BMW.
