Some much interesting information in such a very small area. If anything that is my only criticism. The articles and information deserve a great deal more. We will certainly visit again and spend a few hours looking at everything on display. The gentlemen there were so well informs on the history of the area that I felt honoured to meet them

Waterbeach Military Heritage Museum
A wonderful little slice of history in Waterbeach. Covers the entire period of the Barracks with brilliant items, pictures and stories including flight charts, plans and records from WW2 and excellent items from the days of the Royal Engineers.The volunteers are fantastic! A wealth of knowledge, almost all of whom were stationed there and have great stories to tell.Free to visit and worthy of a donation. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Waterbeach Military Heritage Museum
A treasure trove of variety for a small local museum, not just a regular regimental museum. The base itself was active from WW2 until the 90s, both as a RAF site and afterwards a Royal Engineers base. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable with some great stories. Well worth a look
