Carbeil

Carbeil is a small but beautiful site to stay on. Nestled between hills it's private yet part of the village.Kerry the owner is fabulous. Always willing to help her clients, and help them enjoy their stay. Nothing is too much trouble.Facilities in Covid were good. Social distancing all kept up to high standards.We felt very relaxed and content. Met some lovely people. Looking forward to returning in 2021.Thanks Kerry.

Great place to relax and rest. Loved our week here and will definitely be back.

AVOID. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE. We have had a booking for a static caravan starting in 4 days time for many months. Today we get a phone call cancelling our booking using a gas leak as an excuse. Yes we got a full refund even an offer of 25% off another booking that we will most certainly never do as this has cost us dearly as we had other accommodation booked each end of this booking that will be impossible to keep and non refundable. We must have booked long before most others?? We live 200 miles away so can't keep trotting back and forth to the west country. We had so many plans including visiting a recently bereaved friend and another with cancer.It has always been difficult getting a response from this place either by phone or email ever since we booked except of course for the request for payment! the one and only phone conversation being today to cancel us! We believe we have been gazumped price wise as there is zero accommodation available in the West Country in our budget. 4 days to get a gas fitter? I don't think so!! We even offered to use the van without gas just electric as we would be eating out anyway but no not possible. We had heard that this sort of thing was going on in the West Country so will be adding our experience to the many reports about similar in National Media. We are FURIOUS!!!

Had a fantastic holiday at carbeil spotlessly clean caravan, it was lovely to have outside table and chairs too. The people were lovely and Kerry was on hand if we need anything.it was great we will go back

Just Amazing !!!Where do I start !From the moment we arrived on site we felt so amazingly welcome. Kerry (owner) welcomed us to the site and offered us a drink before then clearly explaining where everything was located and the opening times of the bar.Our first impression was better than could be expected. The whole site is immaculately kept and the grass and grounds well maintained. The pool area is very neat and tidy and the pool itself is crystal clear.On putting up our tent a number of guests and summer residents on the site walked past and all said good morning and were very friendly and welcoming. Some of the residents offering me any help I needed putting up the tent as my wife and I have 4 children.Everything there after felt like we were in a summer holiday dream! Kerry could not do enough for us or the children even going as far as having a sand pit and sand delivered for them to put next to the tent so when we were cooking for the 5000 they had something next to the tent to entertain themselves with which was amazing.We had to unfortunately leave as I had to return to work and did worry about the tent as for the 1 night we were away there was a chance of high winds. A couple of the resident assured me if winds did materialise they would keep an eye on the tent and for me not to worry which was so comforting to know.We really didn't want to leave when our time came to an end... so much so we have now arrived back home and booked to return next week for another few days in the best campsite we have ever visited.Kerry works so hard to make sure everyone is happy and their holiday goes well I don't know how she has enough hours in the day to do everything..Thank you so much Kerry and Mark.

We had the pleasure of visiting Kerry and Mark at carbeil in first weekend of August, we were welcomed at the gate by Mark with the offer of a cuppa.The site is sheltered and quiet with good facilities, a lovely pool and hot tun and a nice bar right next to those.But it was how we were made to feel welcome and as if nothing was too much trouble as long as we had a good holiday that stood out.Myself and Genine will definitely be returning for more relaxing breaks.

The site is on a slope but we parked our campervan easily. Good gravel hard standing all set in a beautiful valley. Friendly helpful staff. All combined to make a very relaxing stay. We'll be going back soon...

What a wonderful campsite, welcoming, friendly, clean and very covid conscious with measures in place to protect everyone.We were greeted by Kerry a very professional lovely lady, who guided us to our pitch.A genuine 10min walk to the beach... yes I've seen many times 10 mins to beach but in a rocket lol, but we walked down and it actually only took 10 mins.We only stayed one night as we wanted to see what it was like for a holiday next year... and yes it ticked all our boxes we will definitely go back for a longer stay next year.To sum up a small secure genuine naturist site close to the beach, with excellent management.

We were very fortunate to be able to get a pitch following a last minute cancellation. From the moment we arrive, Kerry could not do enough for us. The whole place was spotless and everything well attended. A nice hot drink whilst we were setting up was a nice touch. As we arrived late and in a rush, we forget lots of items, including the microwave. By the time we had returned from the shop a microwave was outside our camper Van . We then spent the day around the pool and everyone was so friendly, we felt that we had known them for ages. At night the bar opened, which was just full of people laughing and enjoying themselves. The site was very quiet and peaceful at night, which meant everyone had a good sleep. Would we go again, yes for sure! It was an Oasis where you can relax and recharge your Batteries. Thank you Kerry for making our first visit so special.
