Chris has done work for us previously (white media unit in our kitchen) and so I knew that there wasn’t anyone else I wanted to do what I had in mind for our lounge.In our new build home, I wanted some character but still in keeping with the fact that it’s a new build property. I had a few pictures as ideas and shared them with Chris to see what he thought… As happened previously, Chris had suggestions for me to think about that in his experience would make the room and finish look so much better and he was absolutely right. It’s one of the things that I like about Chris - he will build whatever you ask, but will make gentle suggestions to improve - he really does have a great eye for what will get the very best result.I also think that the quality of the work deserves a mention. Chris really cares about the quality of what he creates, and after two projects with us now I completely trust that we will get something top notch. This job involved other trades coming in to do bits in between Chris’s work (plasterer, electrician etc) and each one commented on the quality of the work so far.I would recommended Chris to anyone for any project (as he knows!). Thank you Chris for another great creation!

Chris built our outside office using a prexisting structure. The result is a fantastic and beautiful workspace / utility area. Chris definitely takes pride is his work and it shows! Chris is very friendly and works efficiently. If you are looking for a garage conversion look no further!

Would highly recommend and intend to use C.D.R Carpentry in future. We bought our first home which needed quite a bit done to it in the kitchen and main bedroom. Chris was recommended and he's done excellent work building a walk-in wardrobe, half-wall, kitchen, flooring and more. Throughout, we found Chris to be hardworking and friendly. Chris helped us to figure out what we were wanting, listening to our ideas and offering helpful suggestions. We've since recommended Chris to friends who are also very happy customers!

We have been so impressed with Chris's hard work both fitting a stud wall and completing a set of internal doors. His work is of a good standard. Contacted Chris short notice to get some worktops (25 Meters worth) fitted. He completed in the time he estimated and did an excellent job. Wood (get it) definitely recommend and use again.

The pictures tell the full story. Stairs that were unfortunately built poorly and completely collapsed, this is where Chris from CDR carpentry came in to the picture. A true professional in all it’s meaning, Chris rebuilt 4 of the kite stairs from scratch to a very high standard and we couldn’t recommend him more for the effort he puts towards his craft and ensuring that he takes ownership over a project and completes it to standards that go beyond the grain and at a fair price. The stairs have been rebuilt in a way that highlight Chris’ expertise as both a fix 1 & fix 2 carpenter and I can firmly say that Chris & his company are a company that any discerning customer interested in full spectrum carpentry work should consider and engage with.

House Re-modelFrom day one CDR was there to answer every question and work hand and hand with us to make sure we got the end product we desired. Chris made from scratch a media unit for us in our kitchen/dining room (see pictures below). We had a number of quotes for this and the quote from Chris was very competitive.Though we had a reasonable idea of what we wanted, Chris was able to give some suggestions or options based on his experience that he thought would enhance the design of the piece - and he was totally right!The quality of the work is exceptionally high, and no detail was too small for Chris. I cannot say how delighted we are with the end result, and I cannot recommend him enough. We have further work planned and I will be using Chris for all of this.
