Cosy Teapot
Lovely people. Very concerned that we were ok and comfortable as we were on a small table as it was the only one available when we arrived. They wanted to move us on to a larger table, but as Dad's in a mobility scooter and Mum walks with a frame we decided to stay where we were. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Absolute gem of a place. We had one of the best cream teas here. The owner is really, really friendly and is lovely to chat with. A gent. I strongly recommend a visit. These places deserve to be supported and kept. Forget the big chain in-vogue" coffee shops and visit this. Truly lovely."

Very charming little tea room with an extensive light lunch menu -sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads. Caters well for gluten free, 3 different types of g/f scone, impressive! Friendly service and suitable for families with little ones.

This is a quaint and traditional place, with a lovely and charming atmosphere. It felt like the time had stopped, which was quite refreshing and so different from other modern busy places. Lovely food and prices are also reasonable.

Lovely little tea room with some outdoor seating too. Very welcoming owner who was so helpful. We had sandwiches and scones - all delicious and well presented. Would highly recommend this little hidden gem. Excellent value for money. (Cash only but cash machine very nearby if needed)

Fantastic traditional tea room serving the best cream teas. The savoury cheese scones with cheddar and local chutney are a real treat. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Budleigh Salterton.

Little gem of a cafe. Friendly service and nicely prepared fresh food. The cafes on the sea front were very busy today.just a short stroll to the edge of the town and the Cosy Teapot is there. I recommend their crab sandwiches served with fresh salad .

Lovely little place! Nice warm scones, fresh cream and Jam! Just a heads up that Cosy Teapot is cash only but there is a cash point over the road at Tesco.
