Traid Dalston

Regular traid set up you get what you see, pleasant experience.

First time I took my son who is 19 months old in trade at Dalston that was my biggest mistake ever. The security guard told me to get out because my son was crying and he picked up a toy and put it on the floor. The security guard told me I was not looking after my son. Funny thing is me nd my mom both were looking after him and trying to calm him down. I felt very discriminated coz I had my son not in a buggy. He told me to get a buggy from shop. Lol I was so angry and told him he don't need to educate me and left with my son and mom.

I have shopped at Traid Dalston a few times and I have bought some nice things however the through out these covid times I have been sure to check with them about their returns policy as I know that they normally give exchanges and credit notes only. So, throughout covid the changing rooms have been closed so they offered refunds. I went there recently and as mentioned, I double checked the returns policy with a member of staff and she said to me that I can get a refund. She also said the same to my two sisters. When I tried to get a refund on a top that did not fit the male member of staff said to me no refunds and I said I asked when I bought the item and was told it's ok to refund, he then said to me no she did not say that and I said well you were not there and she did say that. And the same thing happened to my sisters, infact the member of staff that had told us stood right there and denied it and was backed up by this same guy who was not there. So basically the staff in traid dalston are just a bunch of liars, they appear to be nice until they have made a mistake and can not admit to their own faults.

Their monthly updated window displays are very impressive. The security is very friendly, he looks away when I put things inside my bag. It has become my favourite place to shop and borrow clothes. This is my safe space.

My favourite chain but not happy at all about todays experience. The hairy bloke was clearly high as a tower. He was once very happy and dancing and then quickly switched to being rude towards a lady when something fell of the wall. Asked her to apologise! Then he acted rudely towards another one and pulled the stuff from her… Very unpleasant situation to witness…. His good vibe was only self directed. I asked for few things and didn’t get any of it. If I see this behaviour again - will not be silent ☝️

Left my phone in the changing room and the security guard kindly returned it before I’d even noticed. As usual at Traid great clothes and prices.

I popped in on bank holiday with my daughter, I usually visit the branch in Hammersmith or Kilburn. We had a lovely shopping experience, my daughter has never been in a traid store... She was happily surprised! She purchased a lovely pair of MK pumps, they had slight damage to the heel but the lovely assistant took some money off.We will definitely be visiting this store again, the store has lots of wonderful things at reasonable prices, the layout is easy to navigate and the staff are very friendly.

Hit & miss. Some items were great value for money some in my opinion were overpriced. Need time to dig deep as there are some nice pieces to be found at bargain prices. Shop staff were polite & helpful. Security guard was rude and intimidating. He accused me of taking more than three items in the changing room. I had confirmed I had 3 when I entered as he asked me. NB he did not ask the three people that entered the fitting room before me. I opened the door to show my friend one of the items I had tried on and he looked into the fitting room and barked ‘ I told you only three items.’ I pointed out that two were my own clothes, which I had taken off to try on the 3 items from the shop, which were hung separately. When I pointed this out he grunted and walked off. No apology. Rude. I won’t shop there again.I did complain when in the shop and was assured that said security guard would be spoken to. I hope so as his intimidating & rude attitude was not necessary.

Good as new" clothes with a wide selection from blazers to shirts

Traid is true fashion masquerading as a hi-end store. Shop daily without going into the red with you bank account. Whilst being kind to world and supporting positive change.
