My husband and I had a superb morning at the sourdough bread making class, great value for money and with such a passionate and helpful teacher. Nothing was too much trouble for my husband who struggles with mobility, and they say the proof of the pudding is in the eating, well we’ve nearly eaten the whole loaf. Highly recommend the sourdough workshop at Apron Strings. Paul was an excellent and patient teacher who explained everything in detail throughout the evening.

Phil and I went to the pop up restaurant evening on 02/07. The food was amazing and locally sourced. Paul, Jess and Ed were brilliant and explained what was in the dish and why - the team knew their stuff!! Would definitely recommend going to one of these events, but be warned you need to be quick.

What a fantastic time I've had tonight. Paul is amazing, he was so patient and explained everything very clearly so that I could understand and follow him. We've done different sauces, pie filling and pastry which I have never been able to achieve before. I've just done salmon for my tea and used the hollandaise sauce it was lovely. Pies are for tomorrow night.Can't wait to go again hopefully doing pasta and bread. Thank you so much Paul I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend to others.

Myself my wife and friends had an absolutely fantastic fun and informative morning learning how to make sourdough bread.I would certainly recommend joining Paul and his wife Jess for a sourdough workshopp experience and we can't wait to try the Pasta workshop in the near future.He's a photograph our first attempt.Does it get any better than fresh home-baked bread with a nice glass of beer?

The overall score for Apron Strings speaks for itself but I can confirm they are all well deserved. We got artisan boxes and desserts today as a treat for my mother In law and everyone agreed they were amazing and so filling. The range of cheese was lovely and my son loved his child’s selection. I just wished we lived closer to visit more often but are prepared to travel to buy from Apron Strings when we can. Thank you Paul

From making a booking from Australia to the bespoke experience itself, Apron Strings were friendly, organised and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We visited as a party of three for my dad's 80th birthday, and didn't expect to have the whole place to ourselves! The workshop was a wonderful, private, fun and informative event and Paul put us at ease with his relaxed and friendly approach from the moment we walked in the door. His knowledge, humour and excellent planning meant our 4 hours flew by and we enjoyed a beautiful meal of aranchini, pasta, pesto and pomodoro sauce we'd made from scratch.Can't recommend highly enough - from beginners to experienced cooks, I think anyone would get something out of a workshop here or just by purchasing something from the fabulous range of artisan goods on offer in the shop.Thanks Paul, what an absolute joy you are!

I attended the sour dough beginners class. It was fabulous. Paul was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his craft . Would highly recommend. My partner and I attended with my son who is 18. We all really enjoyed.

Last night we attended one of Apron Springs pop-up nights, to say we were impressed would be a massive understatement. The food provided was outstanding, 8 courses of delicious treats and perfectly balanced flavour combinations to set the tastebuds alight. The experience was enhanced by Pauls knowledge and passion for the food they were providing, talking you through each course as it was presented and only to happy to answer any questions people had. The venue is intimate and the trio delivering the experience were wonderfully attentive and engaging. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!
