I've had 9 piercings by Brett. All have been perfect in every way. Placement was bang on, zero issues with healing. Great advice given for aftercare, Brett really know his craft! The piercings were all virtually painless too! Will always go to Brett for every piercing I want, even though that now means a 2 hour train journey! (But when you find an excellent piercer, it's hard to trust another). He's also a pretty funny guy, so helps put your mind at ease if you're a bit nervous!!

Best piercing experience yet! Both Brett and Honey are amazing - great energy and made me feel super comfortable as I get really nervous when getting pierced.Brett assessed my face and recommended what he felt would be great options for my anatomy. I got my 3rd lobes and nostril and I’m in LOVE! It was super quick and reassuring throughout. He also assessed a piercing I was having trouble with and gave me great advice to heal.Cant wait to come back and get pierced again! Highly highly recommend That Place in York ✨

Fresh daith and flat/false rook piercings from Brett. Fabulous service from the whole team! Friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to give advice and answer my endless questions. Great selection of jewelry as well to choose from: high quality and reasonably priced! Will definitely be returning once these are healed.

Lost count of the number of piercings Brett has done for me now. Always so professional, careful to only pierce where it is safe to do so and anatomy works and never any issues with any of my piercings healing. Especially impressive as I have had piercings done elsewhere that were a beast to heal, but following Brett’s aftercare guidance has meant the ones done at That Place and by Brett have always healed perfectly. Lovely family feel about That Place and run by wonderful humans.

That Place in York is amazing! (It’s the only place I’ll get pierced and they’re a 2 hour drive from where I live!)Brett has done 3 of my piercings now, and they’ve all been brilliant and healed perfectly. I’ve also bought and had jewellery changed there and the quality is top notch. Honey and Brett are the most welcoming and friendly people, they chatted to me about my choices and put me at ease, when I felt nervous. Highly recommend!

Honestly such lovely and helpful people. I got my ears pierced 15 weeks ago by someone else and they weren’t healing, so Brett had a look at my piercings and helped me figure out why (it was because of the jewellery i was pierced with). I came back 3 days ago and got my nose pierced. It was so quick, in and out within 5 minutes! i love it. absolutely recommend them to anyone wanting to get pierced in York!!

Honey was an absolutely magical piercer, barely felt my conch and helix at all and had a choice of stud or hoop for the helix. All staff were so welcoming and lovely, receptionist was amazing and even advised me what would look good with my ears! 10/10 wouldn’t get pierced anywhere else.
