CS Connolly LTD - Gas & Heating Services

We turned on our gas fire for the 1st time in 3 months and detected fumes. We contacted Chris but he was on holiday. He provided instructions on turning the fire off and promised to come on his return from holiday. Chris fulfilled his promise and gave the fire a through testing. The fire, a Flavell Amberglow which is less than 4 years old, was leaking carbon monoxide fumes and was irreparable. Chris therefore had to condemn it. He made everything safe and within the hour he provided a detailed report, which will hopefully aid us in getting compensation under the terms of the 7-year warranty. Chris also recommended a dealer for getting a replacement fire. Exceptional service (and value for money) from a top top bloke, who knows his stuff.

Chris was friendly and professional. Voluntarily gave us some tips on boiler as it is now getting quite old - not been given advice like this by previous gas engineers. A plus service!

He came on time quoted us then came on time to undertake the work. The work proved to be bigger than expected due to previous bad workmanship. Very professional and a great service.Chris was a fantastic help and really saved me following a significant leak in the heating system which killed the water pressure completely. He came around extremely quickly and fixed the problem in no time, despite having to crawl through tight spaces under the floor. Following the incident Chris’s went on to service the boiler which had not been done in some time. It’s now running like new, a fantastic job!

Already had Chris in to do a boiler service , arranged for him to come back and fit a radiator , great tradesman , very knowledgable , reliable and honest , very tidy , went over on his estimated time but just charged us what he had quoted previous , top bloke , will definitely use again .
