I had the pleasure of participating in a workshop with Allister, where he talked me through the glassmaking process and let me try it out myself. When I watched Allister demonstrating how to shape the glass I thought I'd struggle, but he was great at taking me through step by step and being on hand to provide reassurance. Would really recommend!

Wonderful time today making a paperweight, such clear explanations from very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Thoroughly recommend.

I have seen Allister develop from his University days and have acquired a number of pieces of his outstanding glassware along the way. These range from individual pieces (one offs) to my constantly used whisky tumbler. I have bought as gifts and for my own pleasure and am so pleased to be able to do so. I guess in my own way I have become a collector his ingenuity never ceases to amaze. Long my it continue.

Absolutely lovely people to work with, quick turn around and beautiful products at the end. They produced two bottles based off a photograph and measurements in an insanely short period of time. Couldn’t recommend more!

After losing my dad earlier this year to Covid, I decided to seek a commission glass work individual to me in my dad's memory after receiving a recommendation from a friend who had also had a commission done several years ago.I was not disappointed......Allister and his wife helped me with the whole process from start to finish. We chose the design together and discussed options to produce something both tasteful and meaningful to me incorporating my dad's ashes. Their studio is amazing and you can see them at work and also view some of the pieces they have on display to give you a few more ideas.It was an emotional process and one that I am so glad to have shared with such a thoughtful and professional couple. Allister and Terri, I cannot thank you enough. I would recommend anyone seeking something individual to them to look no further than Allister Malcolm Glass Ltd.

We went to see Allister to get a cast of our little ones hand and foot. The whole experience was fantastic, Alister was very patient getting a cast and then very informative when describing the process. Seeing the glass pour was fascinating.

My hubby received a whiskey tumbler for his 60th Birthday made by Allister with a lovely blue swirl pattern in the base. Our son and daughter-in-law were lucky enough to receive a piece of Allister's glass to mark their wedding. I find Allister's work very easy on the eye and so organic you want to touch it. He is very gifted.

I have the pleasure of having a number of Allister’s pieces in my home. Most recently Allister made a set of golden trailing wine glasses for my husbands birthday, inscribing each one. They are truly special and are a joy to use and look at. Thank you Allister for your beautiful work.
