I has never been to The Gordon Arms but a friend suggested meeting there for lunch as they have just started a new menu -I had the Home Made SteakAnd Ale Pie. This Pie was topped with beautiful golden brown pastry with plenty of steak in a rich delicious gravy - served with mixed veg and double cooked chips- yum! My friend really enjoyed his BLT in fresh crusty bread with a spicy Mayo and an extra portion of chips.The total cost for the two meals less than £15!!Thoroughly recommend a lunchtime visit!Thank you Gordon Arms ~Five stars from me!! I will certainly be a regular at lunchtime!
