I've got a Mountfield ride on which packed in miserably. Ian collected, repaired and returned within a week. It's like brand new. Cannot recommend highly enough. And, not expensive.

Had an old hayter harrier that I inherited that wasn't starting. I called Ian at Chelmsford garden machinery and he came and picked it up that afternoon. He was very knowledgeable and managed to sort all the issues out he even got the old girl driving again with a new belt and full service.I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be returning next year for another service. She is running like a dream now.

Ian … wow he saved the day for me! Not only did he come out of his way to look in to an electric mower for me he fixed it on the spot what seems to have been an impossible job. Thank you thank you thank you ! Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Typically, when the sun came out and I went to mow the lawn, the mower broke! Ian returned my call in just a few minutes and was with me in no time. Mower fixed at a fraction of the cost I expected, and now I have a stripey lawn to enjoy. A lovely guy, highly recommended! Thanks Ian!

Brilliant service by Ian, home pickup and delivery once fixed. After having a go at trying to fix my 2nd hand (FaceBook bought) Briggs and Stratton myself without success, I called Ian. After explaining I just wanted to know if he could get it running, Ian assured me he would see what he could do. A couple of weeks later following diagnosis that my machine was missing a part, Ian delivered it back not only running but running as well as it ever has since I bought it 2 seasons ago.If you're looking for a knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced service in Chelmsford, you really should consider giving Ian a ring.
