I have known Phil Lakin for twenty years and can honestly say he is THE best Aga builder, installer and service engineer EVER - he is absolutely meticulous about everything he does and no one knows more about their subject. I think Phil has probably installed three or four Aga Cookers for me over the years and gone on to look after them in an exemplary fashion. He is reliable, wonderfully clean & tidy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Phil is also a terrific plumber and heating engineer... what more can you ask..!!

We received an absolutely fantastic service from Phil. After months without a functioning Rayburn as the result of inept work by another engineer , Phil came to our rescue. Other than the fact that our home is now lovely and warm , you really wouldn't know he had been working on the unit at all as everything was left in an absolutely pristine condition. We really cannot thank him enough and would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

I have recently had a bathroom and central heating installed by Phil and his son Tom. They have been outstanding in every way. Nothing was too much trouble and Phil's advice regarding what would be best for my home was spot on! The bathroom has been beautifully done and the attention to detail has been magnificent! He has turned a rather ugly 70's room into a bathroom anyone would be proud of!I have never met such clean and tidy workmen and I would thoroughly recommend this lovely pair! They are soon to start fitting my kitchen and I know that it will be another professional and excellent job! If you want the best, then this is your team!

.Phil installed our Rayburn seven years ago and has maintained it since. We cannot fault his work - he is very efficient, experienced and able. He is also a pleasure to have around the house.It is now ten years since Phil installed our Rayburn. Our previous comments still apply - he and his son Tom continue to give us excellent service - highly recommended.

Phillip was both highly professional & extremely competent sorting out our rather old aga with the added complication of getting himself & the relevant parts over to the Isles of Scilly!It's now running better than ever - more than happy to recommend his work.

We asked Phil to come out to look at a problem with our Rayburn, with the fault diagnosed, we opted for replacement. Phil gave us a number of options along with quotes, we made our choice and asked him to carryout the work.From start to finish the work was faultless, with the utmost care taken, and not a spot of dust or mess around the house. the quality of work is stunning and the equipment installed first rate as was the advise. we have now run the system for a year, as expected without any problems and saved at least a 100ltr of heating oil in the process.Phil has returned to carryout the service, and as you come to expect from Phil another first rate job, from a top class craftsman

Phil has installed an Aga for us replacing our previous Aga. Supported by his son they have worked meticulously. They are immaculately tidy and efficient. Phil’s knowledge of all aspects regarding the work is outstanding - carpentry, gas supply installation, boilers and most importantly Agas. I doubt anyone knows more than him about Agas. As the only Aga approved representative in Cornwall there is no one better to approach for such work. Thank you Phil

Phil provides a truly fantastic service. He with his son Tom have given our ancient AGA a new lease of life - leaving it better and cleaner than it has been for years. Highly recommended.

From beginning to end, the communication and service received by Phil has been outstanding. He was able to take my call when our hot water seemed to fail us on a Friday. He gave me some tips on how to keep the hot water going using our gas boiler - we originally thought it was solely powered by electricity - which was so reassuring - especially going into the weekend. Then on Monday morning, Phil and Tom popped round to check things were okay and explained how our hot water system was powered - mostly gas with electric as a backup. Fortunately nothing was broken and needed replacing and because of this he even refused to take payment when offered. So grateful to you Phil - you’re a kind man with a big heart. Thank you!!

Cannot recomend this business enough. After phoning them regarding a problem with a tank they visited and sourced a replacement and fitted within a few days even at this busy time of year. Very professional and would recommend to family and friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
