we recently stayed in woodys retreat and from the start of the process from booking the holiday I found the communication really good.Good clear instructions regarding accessing the accommodation and such a pleasure to find someone which is dog friendly.From arriving on site and driving to the property i found the site employees to be friendly. Once we were virtually checked in we even got a visit to check everything was OK which these days in my experience is unusual but in my opinion is a good sign of great customer care.Nice welcome pack too.Woodys retreat was just fine for us. 2 Adults and 1 dog, compact and practical, liked the enclosed decking are with the seating.I found the site to be clean and well maintained.We had just a very small issue which I raised and it was delay with super quick.we didn't go to the onsite restaurant/pub but it looked like a good size.You do need access to a car to get about but I gather this may be all over in Northumberland.I would recommend the accommodation and Acorn Leisure again such a pleasure to deal with rather than some of the larger companies.

What a beautiful lodge in a gorgeous park. It was so cosy, very well decorated with plenty of space inside and out to enjoy. The hot tub was really nice the kids loved it and we have made some lovely memories together.This was a last minute break the owners were amazing in accommodating us nothing was too much trouble.A very nice touch was the arrival hamper with lots of goodies including some prosecco so thanks for a fantastic stay we loved it

We have just returned from a 5 day break in the stag lodge at felmoor park. This was our 2nd time on the site but the 1st in the stag. It was the perfect getaway and our dog enjoyed it too.5* accommodation, amazing food at the crazy horse saloon and the perfect walks with the dog. We’ve already booked again for next year.

Mel and Family are wonderful people who offer a fantastic customer service. Booking is easy and the customer portal to manage your booking is great. We have stayed in two of their lodges and both have been comfortable, clean and have good quality furnishings. The hot tubs are great and are serviced daily. I highly recommend Acorn Leisure and will happily return myself

Mel & family always make sure your holiday in Acorn lodges are most memorable with there very clean conditions & a very tasty welcome package of goodies supplied on entry to Lodge ,Hot Tubs are spotlessly clean & checked for cleanliness each day by Mel herself ( or passed to her equally helpful parents )Always happy to HelpAll Lodges are totally secure to let our Dogs run around when we're in Hot tub .Thanks for many holidays in your Lodges

Brilliant. We choose to stay with these every time we come up. Brilliant welcome but also super comfortable and lovely place too stay. One time we couldn't get booked and had to stay with another company, we all hated it! With woodys lodge and the rest in the company the beds are really comfortable, quality and nice, the place is clean and modern, everything you need is in there. Nice big towels that actually cover you. There in a part of the park that's nicer and quieter away from the noise stag party types. You feel like you have your privacy there.Can't wait for next year were I'll be back a few more times!!This last time was the 1st time I took my dogs too and I was really happy with how sercure the decking was at keeping them in, that dogs had there own little cupboard too :) brilliant.

Recently spent another short break (28/11 to 2/12) with Acorn Leisure Holidays at Felmoor Park. This was our 4th year staying at Woodys Retreat which is one of 3 lodges owned by this family run business. From the first time we stayed here this lodge has never disappointed. The standard of cleanliness is the highest we have ever seen in a rental property and the lodge is equipped with everything you need for a short break. The sunken hot tub, just outside the double doors to the lounge, is also the icing on the cake, particularly on colder winter days in the run up to Christmas, which is when my wife and i like to go. The owners also make special efforts to add seasonal decorations (Christmas etc) to make your visit extra special and nothing is too much trouble for them.Felmoor Park is ideally situated for easy access to the Northumberland Coastal Towns and beaches and is roughly half way between Morpeth and Alnwick.See you again next year Mel.

We have had a very comfortable stay at Woodys Retreat. The property had all the amenities we needed and was super clean upon our arrival. The hot tub was a lovely treat and made it a very relaxing stay. Communications, instructions and recommendations provided were excellent. The hamper of treats left for our arrival was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you. We would not hesitate to book again and recommend to others.

Having just returned from woodys lodge, I would just like to say what a fantastic relaxing 7 nights my husband and myself have just had. From opening the door it's was spotlessly clean , comfortable home from home . Spoke to Mel on her morning hot tub checks , such a lovely, friendly & welcoming lady. If anybody is thinking about booking with acorn leisure I would recommend it 100%. .We have already booked for next years x2 holidays , 2024 . Nothing is any trouble if you need anything, hot tub is amazing and again always spotless. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful accommodation Donna & Steve Taylor. Xxx

Me and my family recently stayed in woodys retreat.Good clear instructions regarding accessing the accommodation and such a pleasure to find someone which is dog friendly for our pup.The welcome pack was a lovely touch.We visited the Crazy Horse Saloon every day and ate there twice. The food was amazing and staff were great.I would recommend the accommodation and Acorn Leisure again such a pleasure to deal with.We will be back.
