Me and my mum have just been into the store, we were greeted warmly by Katie, who gave us a quick run down of the store and then allowed us to browse pressure free! I decided on the Detroit king sized bed, bedside tables and drawers (my first adult purchase). Katie then talked me through the delivery and finance processes easily and efficiently. I was nervous about making such a big purchase but she really put me at ease. She was very friendly and approachable and is very good at her job.

My parents are both in their 80s and have spent thousands in oak furniture land in the last few months. They went back in last week to purchase a small coffee table and were told £10 for delivery, youd think for £250 it would be free, but yeah ok. But then...... thats only to the doorstep, its an extra £19 to take it through the door . Absolute disgrace, ripping off old people especially when they just spent £1000s would definitely think twice before shopping their..

Order of Chest of Drawers - The service we have had within the store at Fosse Park in Leicester. Steve saw us looking lost in the store but assisted us all the way through - even to the point of showing us things on screen which suited our description. Nothing was pressured at all - he helped us set up delivery which is suited to our needs. As for the delivery men - Brilliant guys with a personality and made it easy! BRILLIANT STAFF!

Absolutely shocking experience. Ordered Sofas back in April (It's December now), the initial delivery had a broken Sofa. This was then replaced with a Sofa that did not match the colour of the other original Sofa and after 8 months of back and forth, 3 cancelled deliveries and spending literally hours on the phone to customer services, we decided we had enough and cancelled the order. Avoid Oak Furnitureland at all costs.

Spent a decent amount on a set of table and chairs. 2 chairs arrived damaged. Haven't heard anything from customer services in the 22 days that I let them know.Update: 6 months later, still no contact from customer services despite sending them pictures and following their damages policy online. This will certainly be my last purchase from this chain.

Oh dear wish I’d read these google reviews before going to the store as I’d definitely would have gone somewhere else. Don’t be taken in by the sales staff- everything they told me and my mum was a lie, from the colour of the sofa she could choose, how the hire purchase plan works and of course delivery dates. My 84 year old mum moves this week and has nothing to sit on. They’ve told us it will be another 3 weeks but I don’t believe them. Customer service staff just apologise and offered a £50 credit note off our next purchase with them. Lol! Like that’s going to happen. Be warned- stay away. Would give no stars if I could

Just received today damaged sofa and broken clock. All the cushions was so dirty so instead of enjoying my new sofa I had to put all the covers in the washing machine. On the top of that this is the first store which leaving you to unpack and set up everything and u have to get rid of the cardboard and plastics and all the rubbish. Very disappointed. Spent 2.500£ for damaged items. All day I was waiting for a call but customer service just give me a call to ask me for some photos of the damages and that's it.....

Poor furniture shop, kept us waiting 6 months for sofa then tried to deliver it twice but would not fit in. As a company why sell a sofa that will not fit through a standard door, it wouldn't even fit through our disabled size front door. They then had the cheek to say we had got to pay them £119.00 to take it back. Avoid this shop at all cost's.
