Belly Dance with Galit Mersand
Galit is an excellent instructor. I had a private group lesson and she took 20 of us complete beginners and had us doing a routine by the end. We had a ball! Great idea for a party.

Belly Dance with Galit Mersand
Galit is a brilliant teacher. I have danced with her for many years now and I am still learning new things. This years’ lessons have been via Zoom but even then they have lost none of the warmth and passion that Galit shows in her face to face classes. She still focuses on finding the best way forward for you to dance as an individual and succeeds in making you feel part of a group even when everyone is on a screen miles apart!

Belly Dance with Galit Mersand
Galit has taught me belly dance for last four years and I have loved every minute of it. She is an outstanding teacher, with a close understanding of students abilities. Her attention to technique is exceptional and this is done in a warm, friendly way. Our class (which has been through Zoom over past few months ) is a great mix of all abilities and Galit takes the trouble to monitor our individual progress each class. Highly recommended.

Galit is a fabulous teacher, she taught me as part of the JWAAD teacher training course and I attended a Zoom class with her. Her class was fun and she offers very helpful, constructive advice on dance technique. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Galit is a wonderful belly dance teacher! I have been attending technique-focused private lessons via Skype with her as I don't have any local options for experienced teachers. She is able to offer constructive and useful technique advice over Skype. I learn a lot from each lesson!

Galit is a wonderful teacher , very professional and teaches high level of technique. Her choreographies are always varied and well planned. The classes are vibrant and fun. Galit charges you with amazing energy and inspires you to dance with passion. Her classes have made me aware of my posture, improved my balance and muscular tone and had really positive effect on my wellbeing!

One of the best teachers on this planet! Galit is knowledgeable and fun, her many years of experience allow her to spot any mistake with her eyes closed and point them out in a very uplifting and helpful way, so you really feel noticed and like you’re learning in an authentic way and quickly! Even in a group class you can get your one to one attention!I’ve attended her classes for over a year and I’ve always had fun as well as learning how to feel sexy in my own body!I couldn’t recommend her more!

I’ve been attending Galit’s classes for ten months now and I’m surprised by how much I have achieved in that time. Galit is a really patient and professional teacher . She breaks down all of the choreography to ensure that everyone is confident with the dances. Her training in yoga and dance helps with the understanding of the postures of belly dancing. She is a really inspiring teacher and always up for a laugh. I can’t recommend her enough.

Possibly being the furthest flung regular student of Galit Mersand I can say this... her eye for detail, for what the body is doing to make or lose a move has helped me very much over the last three years. Skype lessons are a brilliant way to work with Galit Mersand, if, like me, you live miles away. Strict on what matters with a wonderful sense of humour to lighten when things get too serious ❤️☀️
