We joined an online beer course with Jonny - very enjoyable, excellent variety of beers and a wealth of knowledge to accompany the explanation of the difference between the varieties. Would recommend this course to everyone not just beer lovers. Would love to do another course.

We did the 8 week wine course, during lockdown and it was absolutely brilliant! Johnny is really informative & interesting, the wine choices are the perfect level of different & interesting without being too expensive or OTT and most importantly delicious! We will definitely be booking another tasting for when the school reopens in person. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly wine school. Jonny is a great teacher! Perfect for everyone, no matter what your previous wine knowledge is. I went to the 8 Week World of Wine course and learnt a lot as well as making some good friends. Post-Covid, they've been running virtual wine tasting nights which are always really informative and a good laugh - would highly recommend!

Great distraction during the COVID shutdown! A virtual wine tour! Muchas gracias to the Streatham Wine School for bringing Spain a little closer while we're in lockdown. Insightful, fun environment, giving us a chance to go a little deeper on where our new favourite wine comes from. We learnt how to judge the smell, taste and quality and thanks to our host Jonny, now feel a little more knowledgeable next time we choose the wine in a restaurant.

I had a fantastic time during my virtual wine testing at home! The class was fun, engaging and very informative and the wine delicious! Jonny was absolutely brilliant and made the experience very enjoyable!

We just did the Spain and Italy 2 hour course and were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved it! Jonny was a wonderful and very engaging and friendly presenter / wine teacher, with lots of excellent knowledge and tips as well as some great stories. The wine was all delicious (obvs) and there were some snacks too, which I always appreciate... and Streatham Wine House is of course a great venue. thanks Jonny and South London Wine School, we will definitely be back!

We did the cheese and wine tasting evening. Our tutor, Jonny, was highly knowledgeable and conveyed a lot of interesting information about what we were eating and drinking, in an entertaining and engaging fashion. The pairings of cheese and wine that we tasted were both enjoyable and thought-provoking, and we came away with some new ideas - in particular, who knew that matching champagne with Delice de Bourgogne was a fantastic (abeit expensive!) combination.

Just completed my second online wine tasting course. Jonny is an excellent teacher. He has so much knowledge - not just in the wines themselves but also the origins of the grapes. Highly recommended!

Had a great time on the 4-week introduction to wine course. Jonny is a great tutor and makes the evening tastings really fun and interesting. Learned a lot and now feel much more confident choosing (and drinking) wine. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who says it's the best present she's ever received. I highly recommend South London Wine School to anyone looking for a fun event where they can learn a bit more about wine!
