School of Bodywork
A friendly, relaxing place to study with exceptionally knowledgeable & warm tutors/mentors. Learning anatomy, physiology & massage at The School of Bodywork was a wonderfully enriching experience. Not only did I graduate with results that surpassed my expectations & grew enormously as a person, but I got to meet some very interesting individuals & make some great friends along the way :)

Absolutely fabulous courses and ongoing support. I would recommend to anyone who was interested in either pursuing a career in massage, or wanting to enhance their existing skills. A huge range of courses on offer, with more always being added. Fantastic tutors who make you feel part of the team and not just a number like some other courses I have experienced.

I recently completed the Diploma in Therapeutic Massage with Emma and Louise at the School of Bodywork. I enjoyed it immensely and can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. Emma and Louise teach to the highest standards in a holistic and individualised way. They are both inspiring and encouraging. I recommend the course to anyone who is looking to begin a career in Bodywork.

My career change path started a year ago with SOB, and it was the best decision I could make. Louise and Pat are very dedicated tutors, sharing knowledge and experience and supporting students with the highest standards at all times. I really enjoyed my journey during Diploma in Therapeutic Massage and have already booked my space for future courses. I highly recommend everyone, from total beginners as I was to fully qualified therapists looking to boost their skills. Great job, ladies!

I have done 2 diplomas with School of Bodywork now, the class sizes were small which was great as the tutors were able spend time with individuals and there were some good friendships made within our group.First I did the Complete Body worker diploma, starting this in the autumn on 2019, the course was disrupted due to the pandemic but the school adapted and we were able to continue studying the required anatomy and physiology content and take our written exams at home (invigilated over webcam with exam papers provided in envelopes with tamper proof seals). On agreement of all the course participants, they were able to rearrange the dates for our practical studies and take our practical exam on the original planned date as restrictions were lifted. Shortly after I completed this course, I signed up to and began the remedial massage diploma, this changed location part way through the course, and there were a couple of planned dates that had to be rearranged, but the course was still completed as expected despite further disruptions due to COVID.On both courses the tutors were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about passing on their skills, and the course content was thorough, going beyond the required standard for examination and qualification, they clearly have a passion for their craft. The content on the remedial diploma really changed they way I worked and has helped me get some great results with my clients, so I was very happy that I chose to do this course. The school has stayed in touch since graduating and continues to support/cheer lead my business as I develop in my early career which I really value.

Really enjoyed my first course at the School of Bodywork! Great tutors who offer a lot of advice and support and expanded my understanding of massage in a calming environment. Highly recommend as I feel much more confident in my abilities as a therapist and will definitely come back for future CPD!

I would recommend the School of Bodywork to anyone considering a career move into the therapeutic world. As a secondary school teacher, I was consistently impressed by the quality and depth of resources provided to support students through their Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. My exam results arrived this morning and I have passed all parts of the exam with flying colours! I have been exceptionally well supported throughout the course both on a personal and a professional level. Its been a privilege to work alongside professional therapists who find real joy in their work and I am so looking forward to the next chapter... Remedial Massage! Thank you Emma, Sarah, Ruth, Joy and Belle for sharing your passion for therapeutic touch across the Complete Bodyworker course.

I began training in the Complete Bodywork Diploma in 2019 and have since completed the Remedial Diploma & Fascia Diploma, alongside the valuable online training courses. Studying with SOB has been life changing both personally and professionally. The standard of training and depth of knowledge Emma humbly shares is incredible. Not only that but she has helped me in her own time with setting up my business & also finding employment as a therapist. I would highly recommend learning with SOB to anyone who wishes to be well supported and succeed in their bodywork therapist ventures.

I had the privilege of attending the School of Bodywork, where the teachings go beyond mere lessons – they embody true therapeutic values. Louise and Pat, our remarkable tutors, patiently shared their wealth of knowledge and made the learning experience not just insightful, but also profoundly authentic. Their personal experiences added a unique touch that truly enriched my journey as a student. This school is a gem where education and empathy seamlessly blend.
