I have recently completed the Basic/Introduction to SQL course, and must say the facilities, trainer and the course content was brilliant.It was delivered in a way which was easy to understand, no question felit like it was too big, small or silly to ask, and the whole experience was really enjoyable.I'd certainly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into SQL, and also as a training company in general

I learnt a lot on my Advanced Power BI course with Wise Owl in Manchester. The course content was relevant, thorough and delivered in a really engaging way by the tutors. Highly recommend going to Wise Owl to learn some valuable new IT Skills.

Great INTRODUCTION TO SQL course and delivered at the perfect pace. Dave, the Trainer, was excellent and knows his subject well. The course was delivered in a relaxed, informal style and Dave was the perfect host. The training room was comfortable, air-conditioned and well-lit. It also helps that there were only 5 of us (out of the maximum of 6) taking the course. Plenty of tea, coffee and snacks were on offer and lunch was varied due to the many local restaurants. Dave is obviously a really nice bloke, very amusing and puts his trainees at ease because of his laid-back training style. I would recommend Wise Owl to anybody who wants to learn SQL.

I attended the Advanced Power BI 2 day course in Manchester and was impressed by the depth of knowledge from the trainer Sam Lowrie. There were only 2 other people on the course, thus providing plenty of opportunity for answering my questions. I can highly recommend the training I received from this specialist provider.

Attended a Power BI introductory course with Wise Owl on 13/14 February 2023. Course was logically mapped out, training material was available straightaway, trainer was helpful, knowledgeable and patient - some excellent tips given at the end of the course on how to further your knowledge. Lunch was included in the price and not your usual dried up sandwiches (ha ha) but a proper restaurant, so you get to see a little of Manchester as well. Keep up the good work Wise Owl.

I recently attended the beginner course for SQL with Wise Owl. I'm a support analyst and wanted to improve my troubleshooting in relation to querying the sql database. There were certain concepts in terms of formatting and joining that I have never fully grasped even with explanations from the developers, so thought I should dive in from the beginning to learn.Very happy I took this course as all of the tools regarding Selecting from db tables were covered and easily understood due to the order the training progressed through. The trainer, Rick Gould, was excellent and made sure we understood the materials covered before progressing. In my eyes we moved very quickly through the course material and covered everything including a few extras on the last day of training.Should be mentioned that it was onsite training, which I much prefer, and I was lucky to be with a great group of people (4 of us in total). Venue was lovely, only a short walk from the train station (less than 5 minutes) and provided everything needed for the day. Also for both days Rick took us to local restaurants for lunch which was awesome as usually with other training companies we just all go our separate ways for the lunch break and never really chat much aside from a few comments during the class.I'd highly recommend Wise Owl to anyone considering any of their courses and will be returning myself for the advanced SQL course as well as Power Automate which I only learned about in conversations with Rick. Also give a special golf clap to Rick as he was honestly and excellent teacher for the course.
