Left a message online regarding having a dress altered. A lady called back with the price and said I would need to get the dress to her within 2 hours if I wanted the dress done. After thanking her for calling me back but saying I would have to leave it, she just cut the call, without saying anything. Quite rude and abrupt. Not really a way to do business. Definitely will not be using her for anything else.

I bought a beautiful wedding dress but it was too long so took it along to be altered. Despite it turning out to be a lot of work because there was a delicate lace pattern right at the bottom, Mandy painstakingly cut off the lace and re-attached it so that it was the perfect length but retained this lovely detail. She also improved the back, giving me a bustle which suited the dress well. At one point I was seriously toying with the idea of adding tiny capped sleeves but Mandy persuaded me to keep it strapless because the dress would look nicer without and she was definitely right. I would go back to Mandy for alterations and would recommend her. She was friendly and she knows her stuff :)

Mandy is an incredible seamstress! I took my wedding dress to be altered and she did an amazing job! I was a little nervous to be honest as I needed quite a bit of the length taken up. The dress had so much lace and detailing at the bottom, I didn’t think it would have been possible but Mandy made it possible! I honestly can’t thank her enough, I felt like a real princess in my dress.Highly recommend to anyone who needs a seamstress.Thank you again Mandy!

Just want to say a massive thank you to Mandy for doing my wedding dress. I don't normally write reviews but feel i should for this as i think your wedding dress is a really important things to get altered and need to make sure your 100% happy with the shop. So if i can help a nervous bride find the right woman for the job i will. Maddy is great at her job she made sure she was 100% on size she took time to pin the dress up and didn't just rush me out the door. I will send pictures after the big day. Thank you so so much. Xxx

My partner and I have been struggling to find someone to tailor an old jacket his mum used to wear. She died a few years ago and the jacket is fairly unisex, we thought it would be a nice idea to get it altered to fit him. I have contacted a few tailors in Milton Keynes, but considering that this is technically a women's garment I contacted the above seamstress. The jacket is a brown corduroy jacket, fairly unisex.The way I was spoken to on the phone would suggest that I had approached the business with a totally unreasonable and literally laughable request. After detailing that this was a sentimental, special garment of my partner's, and that I was 100% willing to accept that the business may not be in a place to accept the request, the owner laughed at me and said while laughing He wants to wear a woman's jacket? What

I would like to say a huge thank you to this lovely lady, who altered my wedding dress, at short notice, when my previous arrangements got cancelled. She booked me in very quickly for my fitting and my dress was ready within a couple of weeks. I am so pleased with the result, it fits beautifully and I feel very comfortable wearing it. I will definitely be using her again in the future for any garment alterations and it was very good value for money.

I took my wedding dress to Mandy to be altered. She has done a fabulous job, even some intricate lace that needing changing/restitching she did no problem! Super happy, Mandy is an absolute genius! I definitely recommend anyone who neds dress alterations to take it to her, I will definitely use again for other dresses!
