Girvan Beach Car Park

Great spot to park a motorhome overnight 14 designated spots.

Used to be £10/night and you had access to the toilet/shower/washing machine block and take water.Last year travellers ruined it all by wrecking the door and making a total mess of the place so council has decided to block access to the facilities.Now for £10, you can park and stay and empty the toilet and that's it.We won't be back...

Nice little spot on the waterfront to park up overnight in a motorhome - £10pm, 3 night max stay. No facilities, but great views and beach access.

Great park-up idea by the council, but still needs more work. At least they've put in a 3.9m barrier to keep the lorries out. And there are five public loos (30p, pay by contactless card) which are nice and clean. But no access to drinking water, or rinsing water by the rudimentary emptying tank, that's poor. Come on South Ayrshire Council, you're taking money for this facility, at least invest a bit more, and more motorhomes will come here. We love Girvan, but people won't come if you keep getting bad reviews.

Good wee stopover in motorhome

£10 for overnight in a campervan, pay via an app after 6pm. designated bays, excellent waste bins. Public toilets clean and heated, need a debit card to use via contact less but its only 30p. I went swimming in the quay zone leisure centre ,great pool and showr after. lovely and quiet will stay here again.

Stayed over night in our motorhome for £10, great views ..of parked up lorries, this was more a lorry park than anything, the side road in front of us was full of lorries, there was lorries turning on the car park all night less than a few feet from the back of the motorhome, from early hours they started to leave but not before they ran there engineers to keep us awake. after a poor half sleep I decided to use the toilet block and then top up our water..I couldn't get into the toilet block as it was locked and I had no code, the water tap wasn't working so no water. Just great !!! , we could have stayed at the other end for free and with a toilet block and no lorries to contend with but decided to pay £10 as didn't want any sleep, didn't want to use the toilets either and wanted great views not. NEVER AGAIN. AVOID THIS PARK UP.

Would be excellent if facilities were offered in keeping with cost. Understand that the previous damage was horrendous but 10 pounds to pay for parking in an otherwise free carpark is cheeky. I would comment, that rather than people complain about lorries, how about thanking them for delivering everything we need. Where are they supposed to take their mandatory breaks?. This is not a caravan site it's a town carpark. Consider the businesses no lorries..no goods...no business.

Had a nice overnight stay in our motorhome lots of others there.Lovely views across to Ailsa Craig
