Canine Connections Dog Training

Having just taken ownership of our very first puppy as lockdown 3 was announced, I was really worried how I was going to effectively train my puppy with all the restrictions in place. I had signed up to a 7 week puppy training course with Lisa at Canine Connections, just before the lockdown was put in place.I was very hesitant about switching from what should have been face-to-face training to online sessions in my own house. However, I need not have worried. If anything I think we have got possibly more out of these online sessions that we would have out in the open.The whole family can get involved at the same time, in the comfort and safety of your own home (so no distractions for puppy) and you get quality 'virtual' face to face time with Lisa giving you time to chat about issues, advice and how to resolve these there and then. So much better than I anticipated, and so glad we switched to online lessons rather than requesting a refund. We've enjoyed them so much, and found them so useful, we have just signed up for another 4 weeks. Lisa is extremely knowledgable and I feel so reassured having her guidance in training my puppy! I would definitely recommend Canine Connections to anyone.

With our male Border Collie we are with Canine Connections since he was 3 months old so over 3 years now. Starting from foundation classes, through, basic training, obedience and now agility training. Lisa is a great coach and I would wholeheartedly recommend Canine Connections to everybody!

I have really enjoyed the classes with Lisa and her team! I have learnt so much and my pup has really benefitted from joining. I first joined the foundation puppy course and have attended other courses since. The sessions are always fun and you get the individual help you need. Defo recommend!

Excellent dog training classes. My pup has benefitted hugely from Lisa and Halyna’s tips and techniques. Highly recommend - not only do you get great support in training your dog, it is also a great opportunity to strengthen the bond between you and your pup.

We have now attended Spaniel Manual 1, 2 and 3 and I would highly recommend them to any spaniel owner. Lisa really understands spaniels and the workshops focus on exercises to work with their natural traits and improve your relationship with your dog. We have learnt a huge amount and had great fun too!

I have been doing the virtual puppy classes with Lisa because of Lockdown. The classes are always very enjoyable and informative. Lisa is very knowledgeable and allows plenty of time to answer individual questions whilst also keeping them relevant for other participants.The virtual classes have worked well and it was easy to watch the demonstrations of the training but also to do the training with my puppy in my home. My puppy has definitely progressed and I am continuing with the next level of classes. I also have access (lifetime) to the training videos on the website which are very comprehensive.I am looking forward to some face to face training soon which will add to the training completed virtually.I have no hesitation in recommending the classes and Lisa’s approach to modern dog training.

Update! Just finished Improvers Course. It was great fun & brilliant teaching by Lisa & her team! Lisa goes the extra, extra, you have great teaching on the day & then on this course a WhatsApp group of tips of day & links to utube training videos!! Amazing!! Already booked onto another course can’t wait!!Year Ago I posted: Lisa has a great understanding of dogs of all types. I have a rescue Cocker Spaniel and Lisa has helped her with great force free fun training! Highly recommend!

Just done 6 weeks puppy class with Lisa. I have learnt so much and Lisa always there to give good advice. Would recommend these classes, hopefully will be back for further training.
