Hazel worked with us to provide curtains and blinds throughout our re-constructed cottage, although she provided significant advice on our interiors generally, which was considered and very welcome. She has expert knowledge, is a perfectionist and takes time to fully understand your requirements in the context of your home and personality. Hazel offers a superb service and great selection of fabric and wallpapers. She was able to understand exactly what style I was looking for and managed to offer me a good selection to choose from. The curtains were beautifully made.

Hazel was tasked with repairing and reviving an old Roman Blind. This was carried out to my entire satisfaction. There was a minor hiccup with the refitting, but she pulled out all the stops to get people to come and sort it out that day - even though it meant they worked well past normal business hours.I chose Hazel to do this because of two previous jobs she had done. We needed new curtains in our sitting room - a large amd traditional room with a French Window to the north and a large window to the south. She offered an excellent choice of fabrics, and the finished result - hung expertly in a couple of hours by some very pleasant fitters - convinced us that we had made the right decision for the next however many years it will be until it's again time to replace them. On the strength of that, we got her to recover an old piano stool inherited from my mother in law. It's a nice ordinary old fashioned piano stool, but is particularly significant to us because on one occasion Donald Swann (of Flanders and Swann fame) had sat on it and played the piano while visiting my mother in law, who was big in music circles in Glasgow in the 1980s. To match it (and to be honest, because there was quite a lot of fabric left from the metre she was required to get for the stool), she produced a cushion cover which is on a chair by the piano stool and looks very satisfying.I have no hesitation in recommending Hazel. Good artistic judgement and good value for money!

Hazel has a lovely calm manner. She took time to find out what we wanted and gave us useful advice and a range of materials/prints to choose from. The whole experience was unhurried, and we are delighted with our curtains and blinds and the quality of the finished items.
