We have enjoyed two fabulous meals at the Three Horse Shoes, Friday night and Sunday lunch, both were delicious and can thoroughly recommend this fabulous pub tucked away in Groesffordd. Only remembered photos of Sunday before we cleared our plates. Dog friendly too

A perfect balance between fine dining and good hearty food! Very comfortable vibes, cold drinks and food was outstanding. We went here after climbing the Fan and felt well rewarded. Definitely coming back!

Perfect Pitch. Outstanding dishes perfectly cooked/grilled. We choose blackmountain paste as starter followed by welsh lamb which I can highly recommend. My wife choose the cod as main course. All dishes taste were unbelievable special and delicious round up by the desserts. Pricewise it’s higher level than other restaurants around, but definitely no waste of money….!!!!Thanks a lot for this impressive experience, I never eat lamb that that’s, that’s Wales. (Visit as tourist)

Had a fantastic evening at the three horseshoes. Took a punt (and a walk) to the pub after struggling to find anywhere with any space in Brecon, and so pleased we did! Food was exceptional and the welcome was warm. Our only disappointment was that they didn't do food on a Sunday or we'd have been back the next day!

A delightful experience! We arrived here exhausted & cold after a long hike & were sat by a roaring fire. Service was warm, helpful & welcoming from start to finish.We all had amazing meals too! Complementary fresh bread with whipped marmite butter, anyone? I highly recommend the fish & chips too. We will be back next time we visit the area.

Food was lovely, can’t fault this,On entry server behind bar with the ponytail did not even acknowledge us, admittedly he was serving but a smile and hello would have been no problem I’m sure.Had to ask twice for table water and had to ask for a steak knife!Overall was nice for a special occasion.Forgot to take a photo of starters.No parking.Could be tricky if mobility is bad.Beautiful views.

Is the food nice, absolutely. Was the beef perfectly cooked, absolutely. Was all the food 5/5? Absolutely.Was the staff rude, absolutely! I was in a hoody, it's Sunday and why shouldn't I? My friend is also wearing relaxed clothing. And it was bizarre to be treated so poorly. Bareing mind, we have all been successful in our careers. We were treated with absolutely disgust almost, the comical thing was the shed next door, the server was so polite and nice. But then rude to us? I don't understand it?Memorable moments:- when ordering starters and desserts, the waitress rudely said I need the menu
