Wanted to open an account with HSBC for my daughter..we have different family members with the branch so thought we would try with them. The lady who allegedly opens the bank accounts on 2 separate occasions seemed adamant she didn't want us opening an account for some strange reason. .told me to go elsewhere too... its very off way of trying to get customers or not as the case may be

Not all if us live/work in town and not all of us have a post office in the village where we live. I've been unable to pay cash/cheques into the bank as it's not open at weekends. Guess i'll be closing my account and going to the Yorkshire bank which hasn't reduced it's operating hours all through this pandemic.

Went in to help my friend reverse a fradulent transaction and the customer service representative was quite rude during the exchange. She did assist in reversing it however she was quite blunt and dismissive, not helpful during a stressful event such as this.Very disappointed in the customer service, to the extent of considering switching banks.

I drove 20 miles to my nearest bank today to pay some money into a business account. The lady on the help desk was so rude. I asked to pay in some money which had a few coins but they dont take any change on a Saturday. She never even asked if I had something else to pay in. Why would a bank not take money? Very unhelpful and very rude. If this is the attitude and manner in banks then no wonder banks are closing.
