I came across the Wessex Watch company site whilst I was looking for bespoke watches. I was blown away by the watches that I found on their site. So much so that I ordered one there and then and I went for the Spiral Guilloché 15 Automatic.From the moment the order went in, to the moment my watch was delivered, Jamie kept me personally informed and he also answered my questions about doing a personalised dial for me.The watch is totally different to any of my other watches and I own quite a few. As I told Jamie, I wanted something different from the watches I already have and wished I had come across his website sooner. I could have saved myself a lot of money looking for the perfect watch.The detail on the sterling silver dial is gorgeous and coupled with a top quality Swiss automatic movement, case and an exhibition back it is just a stunning piece of work. The hand-made leather watch strap finishes it off beautifully.Since receiving my watch, I have hardly taken it off and it has kept brilliant time; all my friends and family admire it.I would definitely recommend Wessex Watches and a big thank you goes to Jamie and his team.

I ordered the Aelfraed and cannot be more pleased. This watch is honestly the most beautiful watch I have ever seen in person. The photos do not do the artistry justice, it is simply stunning. I also want to comment Jamie for being so courteous and friendly in all correspondence.

I Purchased my celestial balance, custom engraved watch from Wessex watches around a year or so ago and it's been a real joy to own and wear. It gets lots of attention from friends and family, with lots of praise being given on how good it looks. It really does look amazing and so different from all the usual watches seen on sale. It's been running well with no problems what so ever. The guys at Wessex did an amazing job of engraving the dial and case back with words of my choice and their customer service has been exemplary. I even got a free spare watch strap in the box. I visit their site often and some of the new dial designs really are something special. I would definately recommend a visit. I hope to be owning another Wessex timepiece in the not too distant future but with so many stunning designs and quality workmanship on offer it's going to be a tough decision to make.

For my 21st birthday, my parents got me a watch. It has a spectacular custom design of the great wave of Kanagawa. It was beyond my wildest expectations, capturing the essence of the wave in three dimensions, I don't know how the watch maker did it. The dial has a real sense of motion. Now it's mine forever, I love it and could not have asked for more. The box is awesome too.

Bought a watch from here about a year ago and was absolutely stunned by the quality of the thing. Photos don't do them justice as you can't really appreciate the beauty of them until you see one 'in the flesh' so to speak. Mine came with a quality Swiss movement (the same type used by many well known watch brands) and it's not missed a beat since I've had it, not had to adjust the time once. There's just something about a mechanical watch, especially one that is manually wound, that makes it feel a bit special. You feel like you're wearing a 'proper' watch (no offence to quartz time pieces). Of all the things I've bought over the years this watch has proven without doubt the best value for money. What you get for the price is incredible to be honest.

I cannot say that I’ve had a more fulfilling or enriching experience in purchasing a watch than I have with Wessex. I was looking to purchase a watch in 2018 and was looking at Grand Seiko or Cartier because I wanted to expand my current collection. On a whim, I read an article in a magazine about a new watch company that took the personalized experience to a different level. My curiosity got the best of me & I was intrigued by what was written.I went to the Wessex website & looked around to find extremely beautiful and intricate designs for unbelievable prices. At first, I was skeptical so I sent a question in the contact section. I didn’t expect to hear back from them so quickly but Jamie (President of Wessex) answered me the same day. That in & of itself is amazing since there’s a 5 hour time difference. Jamie explained that he has revolutionized the design process such that if you can dream it up, he and his team can make it happen. We had begun bouncing ideas back and forth for about 8 days until we finally came up with a bespoke design that honors my family crest with a intricate and detailed guilloche weave. There was never a time that Jamie & the team at Wessex didn’t answer my questions or anything else. The team led by Jamie are some of the finest watchmakers who take a deep amount of care and time honored watch making skills to produce magnificent bespoke pieces that are worthy of heirloom status. The highest compliment that I can give is that I am in the process of becoming a customer for the 2nd time with Wessex. The watches you see on the Wessex website are all bespoke to their respective owners which adds to the uniqueness of owning a “1 of 1” watch. You cannot go wrong with Jamie & Wessex and you will be getting many compliments for a watch that’s so brilliantly executed with outstanding materials and old world craftsmanship.

Earlier this year Wessex Watches designed & created for us this simply stunning hand made luxury timepiece as a way to memorialise our daughter, and to celebrate the work achieved by the charitable fund set up in her memory, as well as the hospital unit who lovingly cared for her.We were absolutely blown away by this completely unique creation, which was professionally & sensitively constructed to incredible detail by the brilliant Jamie Boyd.This phenomenal timepiece, with its 26 jewel Swiss Automatic movement, relief engraved dial in 925 sterling silver, German made stainless steel case with exhibition back, and Italian hand made buffalo leather straps, with deployment clasp is quite simply a piece of art.
