I just wanted to say that I had a fantastic week in Cornwall, from oktober 1-8. The walk on the swcp was great, and your information, the luggage service and b&b's/hotels were very well organized. Go on these hikes!! Go with Western Discoveries!! The Southwest Coast Trail is gorgeous, with varying terrain, spectacular views, and historical interest. We chose the twin centre based itinerary from St. Ives to Porthleven. It was absolutely the right choice for us and gave us flexibility. It was very well organized, with maps and up-to-date notes on the trail. Russ was kindness itself, and as a local, extremely knowledgable about the history of the area and the trail. Everyone we met on the trail, and in SW Cornwall in general, was very friendly and helpful. We will never forget this trip.

I spent a week in May hiking in Cornwall with Western Discoveries from St. Ives to Marazion. I had the best time! Russ personally picked me up from the bus and drove me to the first B&B, gave me the information packet and told me what to expect. The packet was great, I really loved the booklet which describes the trails and what to expect during the day and even had photos for 'tricky sections'. I personally didn't need the map because I used the provided GPS data and an app (Komoot). GPS data was accurate and I was happy I had that. I was using it only as backup. I was only twice not sure that I used the right trail. Once proved right. I just took one wrong turn and checked. I could immediately turn around. So I recommend using the GPS data.All of the B&Bs were lovely, clean and the owners were very helpful! Especially Viv from the Field House in Pendeen (breakfast was amazing!) as well as Madie&Duncan from the Painters Cottage in St. Ives. My luggage was transported every day without any problems at all. Even a very last minute request for a t-shirt was made possible and delivered to my last B&B.I travelled to Cornwall and walked alone the whole week. Not once did I feel unsafe and had access to every information I might need! I enjoyed it so much I'm already planning a hike next year. Having just completed our 3rd walk with Western Discoveries we were just as pleased as the first time we booked with you. Everything was organised by Russ & the team made the holiday stress free. The quality of the overnight accommodation was excellent & we were blessed with better weather tis year than last. We only have one more section covered by Russ to walk so that maybe next years holiday! Thanks for a great holiday.

Outstanding walking holiday in a group of 8 and we were all so impressed with Western Discoveries. All the information, the itinerary and the accommodation were perfect. Everything had been anticipated and sorted out in advance. We could think of nothing to improve on. Highly recommended!

We had a great time in Cornwall, the weather was fine and all the people were so friendly and helpful. Also the B&Bs were nice, especially The Field House in Pendeen!Sometimes the hike was a little bit stressful for us (We are all over sixty…), but at the end we were very satisfied. On our last day we visited St. Michaels Mount. This was very nice, and after that there was also enough time for a walk along the beach.Thank you very much for your good organisation that made our stay so confortable.
