Supway hire and paddleboard lessons

Highly recommend!! We hired both Kayak and SUP. Dan was very nice and lots information given. Will definitely go back again!

Booked a lesson for my 15 year old son who had been Paddleboarding once before when he was about 12. My son absolutely loved it - the instructor, Dan, was really friendly and knowledgeable and spent the whole time guiding him and instructing him. Was brilliant fun even when my son turned the board a little too quickly and ended up falling in!!! All part of the fun - would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back - was great fun

Dan Dan the paddle board man at clevedon marine lake was absolutely fantastic with my children today. Paid the extra for a lesson which turned out to be so worth it as they remembered everything he taught them. He was funny, kind and very good at explaining things in a fun way. So good kids already back for the second day.

Today I had my first paddle boarding experience, with Dan the paddle board man! A fantastic time under his great tuition. I set out hoping to have a go without falling in the water too much, but ended up confidently standing and paddling along, finishing as dry as I started! Dan gave me such confidence I highly recommend booking a training session with him to anyone looking to try paddle boarding.

Great first lesson with Dan. I would highly recommend taking a lesson as he was knowledgable and patient. He had both myself and 8 year old son standing within 30 minutes teaching not only on the water techniques but how to get back on after a fall. A++ experience with a fantastic tutor, if you are thinking of giving it a go do it, you will not regret it.

My partner said he'd been wanting to paddle-board for a long time but the opportunity had never arisen. So I surprised him with a one-to-one lesson. After the initial shock had worn off he entered into it with restrained enthusiasm, doing nothing more than borrowing a wetsuit.We then went and had a wander around the Marina Lake and bumped into Supway's Dan who chatted to us for ages, gradually building up my partner's confidence and keenness. A lesson was booked there and then for the following week.Although I was only a bystander, the lesson itself was superb - great attention to detail and encouragement from Dan throughout. Within a short time (for an almost-pensioner and a non-swimmer) my partner was standing on the board paddling up and down the lake. Yes, it was wobbly. Yes, he fell in. But, yes, he enjoyed it and would do it again.Beautiful setting, great value. Thank you Dan.

Fantastic experience. Dan is a very patient teacher and ensured that we learnt the basics.He got us all standing up and none of us fell in.He appears passionate about his craft with the efficacy of Sky to ensure that everything runs smoothly.I would definitely recommend him.

We thought we’d try paddle boarding for the first time. The guys were more than happy to spend time explaining how to do it before I went out and got me standing up quickly. They were then happy to kit the kids out with buoyancy aids and let them on/off so they both got a go.Equipment was clean and in good condition and the guys were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend them. Give it a go if you are in Clevedon.

I hired a paddle board to use on the marine lake last week whilst visiting friends in Clevedon. After a friendly chat with the owner and some basics on safety I was able to successfully use the board to paddle around with my 6 and 3 year old taking turns and even standing up themselves at one point. The board was stable, the area is a safe place to learn and the owners were generous with their time and knowledge. Will definitely be back when we next visit!
