Willowbrook Medical Centre

The service is getting worse, I call and keep getting cut off. I get told by NHS 111 that the Willowbrook is listed that i can get an appt at any time of the day, however this is not true. After being on hold to the surgery, i still end up calling 111 back for a walk in centre appt. 5 hours later i will get seen by a doctor in a different walk in centre.This surgery is terrible. It has been years since i was able to see a doctor.If your lifestyle doesn't allow you to sit on hold from 8am to 8:45am, then you will not be able to see a doctor. You will end up using the hospital services, which is not what the NHS system should be doing. We should get our basic needs met in a surgery before it gets escalated to A&E or a walk in centre.

Today I had three phone calls with the surgery. The first was to make an appointment. The receptionist was very pleasant & empathetic & booked me in for a doctor’s call. I received this mid-morning, as she had said. Dr Musarrat was thoughtful, efficient & suggested a range of blood samples be taken and that a face to face appointment would be given when the results arrived. Meanwhile, I tried, unsuccessfully, to order my prescription on the app. Eventually, I phoned the surgery. Fiona had a reassuring manner and arranged for it to be ordered as there was a system glitch. She also booked me in for a blood test the same afternoon. It was a relief. I was very grateful.I cannot understand why there are poor reviews about Willowbrook. They have continued to remain open & see patients, despite the horrors of the last two years. I have never had cause to complain, or received anything but courteous, professional treatment. Thank you.

Hope you never need to see a doctor because scheduling an appointment is dreadful.They tell you on the phone don't call from 8-10 unless it's an emergency but then say there booked and you must call at 8am. The system is not good enough.

A bad service, rapidly getting worse. 8 weeks wait for a blood test due to cancellations based on staff illness...then impossible to get through on the phone to cancel an appointment you cant attend as the option has been removed to just speak to someone. Making the Surgery a victim of its own poor telephone system. Ive now been waiting for a call back to cancel an appointment for 1 hour and soon the appointment time will have passed.Im also at work!

Almost impossible to get an appointment as you have to call on they day and play phone queue roulette. Can’t even book appointments in advance with your standard nurse as they might lose them in the upcoming “merger” with the rest of their group. Lacklustre and unhelpful desk staff.

My father goes to this surgery regularly. The doctor doesn’t listen to his concerns, stresses he can only deal with one condition in the appointments even it’s it’s just a simple thing and comes across rude. Elderly people are waiting longer than necessary for referrals ect. Doctor also had a camera mounted on his desk without asking then when I asked he said ‘do you have a problem?’ Ofcourse we have a problem, no one gave permission to video confidential doctor appointments, that’s absurd to me. Looking for a new surgery now.

Been my doctors for over 40 years. Used to be a really good practice. Now it’s an utter shambles. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Some patient systems (whatever systems they are) have recently merged" and for some bizarre reason my newborn son was registered to Willows medical centre
