I have been lucky enough to become the proud owner of a Bernina 480 after testing out the 475 in the shop. Duncan and the team were very helpful. The order was placed and the machine arrived at the shop in a week. It's nice to buy local as you have a point of contact should you need any help. I can recommend this shop and will be returning to buy some extra feet for my lovely new machine.

My partner wanted to replace an old singer slant machine he had. He saw a Singer Confidence 7463 on Sewing Directs website but didn't know if it would be right for him. He contacted the shop. The man was polite, friendly & so helpful. He said the machine was easy to use & even ok for beginners. My partner decided to buy the machine. The man even took time to take the address & payment details over the phone.Straight away we got delivery details & that FedEx would be delivering 48hrs later, that is exactly what happened. From start to finnish it was excellent service, we can not fault it. We would highly recommend the shop & would not hesitate to use them again.Thank you Sewing Direct for a streamlined shopping experience. Excellent.

A very good service. They were happy to spend time helping me find what I wanted even though I was only looking for some thread. If you need to repair the sail on your sailing dinghy, this is the place to come.

I Was very pleased to find a sewing machine shop. Took my older singer one in for service or replace and came out with a new singer heavy duty at the right price. . Duncan was excellent not push very helpful . I am over the moon with the new machine thank you

Super helpful, I had bought a walking foot online (elsewhere) that was repeatedly breaking my needles when I was sewing so I contacted the shop to see if they could sell me a better one. He recommended I brought my machine in to check it was on properly before he would sell me another. Once he was certain the one I had was as useful as a chocolate teapot he found a replacement and confirmed it would work appropriately. I really appreciate the effort he took to ensure I wasn’t wasting more money. I just wish I knew about the shop before I bought one online.
