Tina and Julie were so helpful during our visits to the kennel and our home visit. We adopted two year old Kelsey and couldn’t be more happy. Great to know that the team are on hand with advice whenever it is needed. Lovely charity that are clearly passionate about greyhounds!

Thank you to all the wonderful staff and volunteers at NGR. They helped us find a pal for our hound Hibbs and now that Hawk has come home to her forever sofa, we couldn't be happier. Tina and Gwen gave us lots of information about our new family member and great advice on how to help her settle in her new life. We adopted Ella from NGR in 2015. There was so much support at the time, with lots of time to ask questions, and walk some of the dogs. We got a follow-up visit afterwards which was great to discuss any issues (not that there were any). There's always been support there, either a Facebook message or phone call away, from such knowledgeable volunteers.Over the years since we've been to events held by NGR such as the annual Hexham walk and show, and the monthly Blyth beach walk which provide a great chance to socialise Ella, and meet other greyhound owners. It's also a great way for people to come and see the dogs and meet owners; we're happy to fly the flag and always tell people what fantastic pets they make.Ella's been, and continues to be, a big part of our lives and we'll always be grateful to Northumberland Greyhound Rescue for pairing us up together, all those years ago.

We adopted Finn from Northumberland Greyhound Rescue a year and a half ago. Complete after-care - we've visited and discussed everything up to present day and Finn is really happy. We went with open minds to find the right dog for our lifestyle and to be a happy forever friend with Rusty (our older lurcher). There's a variety of personalities of greyhounds to fit all lifestyles and each and every dog is loved and cared for every moment (and forever after).
